- I love the campus environment and independance to rome everywhere. It as clean and hygienic facilities the staffs will do their work regularly
- The contact with the faculties or good they will help me in all factors guide me which helps me to make things easier
- There were more additional things like English coaching, open elective course that we can choose and study, which is very useful.
Dislikes
- On some days the faculties were not regular to the classes, most of the days there were changed in timetable, and also there will be no staff assigned for a particular period
- The teaching method is much good in some of the staffs and also so bad with some staffs as they are not good in communicating in english or not familiar with subject as with other goods staffs will give more knowledge and information about the subjec
Course Curriculum Overview
The course and the curriculum has more topics relevant to the domain I pursue. But there should be a much more impact in the teaching, most of faculties won't cover the full syllabus as they give notes to study for the exam. The exams are done in a strict way with a strict punishments, and there is a regular timing of duration for exams like normal(3 hrs). They also give assignments and marks for those which will be added in overall cgpa. They also looks for a strict class attendance. By providing marks to them.
Internships Opportunities
The college management don't provide any intership opportunities for me, only the faculties with the help of their fellow known person in big companies or institutions, they address us and recommending for internship with stipends or also without stipends which provides good knowledge and experience. As I am b.com IIP student intership is very necessary for me to complete this degree or course. At last this college is good and benefits only for the aeronautical or engineering or fashion designing students and domain not for a arts and science like (b.com, bba, llb, bca, etc..).
Placement Experience
They are providing more placement opportunities yes! We applied for TCS company. And also they announce us to apply by sending g-forms but the truth is they are providing are distributing those announcement only after the time period (when the time period of submission is over).
Fees and Financial Aid
So, I have three years duration course the first year I am required to pay 92000/- Then 86000 for remaining last two year, As I gone with some recommendations they have provided me a scholarship of paying only 60000 for each year, I didn't opt for any additional fees like travelling(bus), hostel, etc...
Campus Life
This campus has a good environment and ambience to roam and advent. It has 3 open air theatres and 3 big auditoriums. It also has canteens which has aavin, snowcube, bakery, namma cafe, azhagar hotel, tea shops, etc...
Admission
I mainly aimed to apply for Madras University affiliated college. Like loyalla, MCC, guru nanak, Vivekananda,etc, but there was a huge demand for b.com on that time, but ultimately I can't go into those colleges, they don't accept my marks(89%) that is lesser than 90%. So with some friends recommendation I heard about this college, first I shocked about the fees structure then we go to the main office which is in Guindy and talked to some staffs, and they reduced the fees to 60000. Which makes me to join in this college with no other alternatives. By the way in this college there is unique course which I opted in b.com that is B.com IIP that is (Industrial internship program), Which will allows you to go for a internship in the sixth semester. U don't need to write any semester exams.
Faculty
The faculties are more likely communicating in personal rather than in taking subjects or in class. The course which I opted covers more syllabus which is very important but there will no faculties for a important subject. The exams and marks are done strictly with no partiality and there is one advantage in this college that if the student is failed in a semester exam, he can write a re-exam for that particular subject not as an arrear, it will not be marked as arrear if he passed in that. But he should write arrear if he failed in that exam.
Night Life
For my course (b.com) they don't have or provide and late night activities. We have a more hangout spots like in canteen and also the college has a big football ground, tennis pit, volleyball ground, etc we hangout there mostly, Also in library, where there I a numerous books also we can borrow them free ly within a particular period, the library is very peace and has a good infrastructure.
