What Students Say

Likes

Huge campus based in 120 acres with lush greenery
Crowd in the college is from all over india
Good education quality and teaching in labs and class

Dislikes

Heavy fees in comparison with other colleges
More focus on academics than sports and other activities
Lab conducting activities are very poor in some cases

Course Curriculum Overview

The exams are conducted on regular basis in 6 months. The lab conducting activities can be improved. The teaching methods are good and well suited by everyone. This course is unique and I was interested in it.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 215000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Many companies come to college for giving internship to students. Internships are given to students after the end of third semester. Companies like Tata aerospace and godrej aerospace give internships here .

Placement Experience

Placements are offered in college after the end of second year and third year. Almost 75-80 percent people get placements from college itself. After getting a degree I would love to for masters in aerospace.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in our college is about 215000 per year. The yearly fees increases by 5 percent every year. The fees is to be paid in semester pattern which is 50 percent per semester. The scholarship is only for EWS Candidates

Campus Life

The campus life is very good here as many events and festivals keep happening almost every month. Spectra is an dj night event loved by everyone which happens almost every month. Persona is the major event of the college which happens once a year in the month of February.

Admission

I chose this college because there are very less colleges in Maharashtra which provide B.tech Aerospace engineering. Out of all of them MIT was the best and nearest to my hometown. Aslo the fee structure here is decent

Faculty

All the faculty members are highly qualified professionals and many of them are doctorates and phds. There are two exams every semester consisting of 30 marks and 50 marks each. They are referred to as end sems and mid sems.

Night Life

There is no night life here as the college is in the outskirts of pune city. The college gates shut by 9pm after which no one is aloud outside and everything is dark. There are many cafes and gyms near by the college which are accessible all day.

PES College of Engineering: Overview of the college

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Course Curriculum Overview:

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

A year experience in MIT ADT

i applied to many colleges like first the jee ones in which ofc i couldn't pass because i failed for it, then i applied for comedk colleges where i got pretty good colleges like the ramiah in which i was getting mechanical branch and there where many other like jain college and etc. but i didn't wanted to go there as there campus are small and also there is regional issue hence i choosed to apply to mhtcet where i scored 93% but i took decision to take admission in mit adt as there campus is pretty good beautiful, and also the packages offered here is good enough, the admission process here is pretty simple either you give jee scorecard where you should have scored more than 65% or you could provide the mhtcet scorecard where scoring more than 80% is considered fine to take admission in the college, you can take lateral entry to the college also by management quota at my time there was no extra fees for the management quota and i think now the situation is same as it was a year ago....Read More
