Only government colege in Kerala with Journalism course. We qualified teachers and faculties. Good curriculum and availability of media labs in the college. Experienced teachers and goimod connections with medias

Fees and Financial Aid

750 per year. I had scholarship, e- grant. From which all my fees was taken cared. For general category they had a semister fees and examination fees. For science subjects they had lab fees along with the examination fees. Very affordable and good faculty

Campus Life

2

Campis life was dull. I was a part of NCC, it was good. There was camps, activities, programs and event which made my days better. The political parties was also dull and they were very bad. But i enjoyed it

Admission

This college have a good campus. Especially the studying environment is quite good for students. Admission process is by applying through Calicut university admission entrance. I had an EWS reservation too

Faculty

5

We had a very good faculty, middle aged teachers who know the mind of students. The teachers was empathetic and loving. Teachers had a space in school in the mind of students. Teachers are well educated, humble and professional

Night Life

1

There is no shops or public areas near our campus. We needed to travel around 30 minutes to reach the bus stop. There is only limited bus available and travelling was hectic. The nearby town is 45 min walk.

Our curriculum is all good and cover many range of topics which are mostly important and we also had may revision sessions but are very few and as a suggestion i would like some of the teachers to improve the way they take the classes . Sometime at the end of the semester they will hurry up and finish the portions so fastly. We also have 1/2 internals in each semester.

I choose this course because like to work in media field and bring lot of opportunities in real world. In curriculum they want to improve in practical session they are more focused on theory papers. Exams are conducted by semester ways in each year there is no difficult levels in exams you want to prepare your own way.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as i love journalism but haven't looked into curriculum before admission. Curriculum is quite good but some portions are irrelevant. Practicals are very less in the college which is really important for this course. The areas related to television and radio broadcasting should be improvised. Exams are once in 6 months

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well after my 12th this whole concept of media and getting into the world of media studies has kept me always on the edge of the seat. Because during my early days in IB I always had a knack for media studies and always be the top of my class. I just loved the world of media. There are just lots of things to do in media. Its a very productive genre for youths in working and creativity areas. Companies look forward to people like me. Our skill is their definition towards a new growth. The way how college prepares you for exams. Good luck with that. I don't think they mentally prepare us. They never teach us, so that's out of option. This is why the majority fails in my class. They are given a whole chapter without explanations. How can us as a student be prepared for the future?
