IIT Roorkee: college ho to aisa

My course curriculum is very interesting as it has economics in it. Math is a must subject that every college have. Next we have some of the psychology and humanities subject as our branch comes under the humanities department.

We have different internship opportunities available. Which is informed by our college on regular basis as some new internship comes . Specially during winter and summer breaks we have huge amount of internship available by our college itself

Our college gives 95% placement and if suppose I am not able to get placed then my branch is economics and therefore I can assist people with ways to invest money and other financial problem they face

•Our tuition fees is around 2 lakh yearly but some of the waivers are there like if you are sc or st whole fee is waived, whereas if you are OBC or general and your parents income is less than 1 lakh whole fee is waived and if between 1 and 5 lakh 2/3 of fee is waived. •Our hostel fee is 40000 and mess fee is also around 40000 which doesn't have any waiver you have to fill whole fee for that irrespective of anything.

There are many clubs in my college out of which I have joined 3 of them . The seniors and faculty of club is of helpful nature they help us to learn all the new things. Here there are club for every small aspect . And you can join any of them

Hostel facility is fantastic. We have laundary service from hostel only . Gym is Fully equipped with best available things. Music room is also available in hostel only. We have dance room also. Dance and music classes are on alternate days . We have gym facilities where gym trainer is also available for an hour while gym is open 24*7. Mess is not that good but in comparison to my past hostels it's the best.

Mainly due to the campus. IIT Roorkee has a beautiful campus and also it is pollution free area. Next it has good placement guarantee. And also because the economic subject is available in only 5 IIT out of which I found this best

Their are many faculties. All of them are easily approachable . Specially in my branch as it is a small branch the ratio of teacher and student is 1:33 which is a very good one . I liked all of my professors. You can imagine if some one is coming to teach to tne best mind of india then how much hardwork and IQ they need

There is no restriction for timings for hostel or campus. We can move in and out at any time. Gym is available in hostel only so it is also 24*7 accessible. There are many canteens in campus. So you can find half of the canteen open at a time . In my hostel there are 2 canteen one is for night and one for day. Library gets closed at 12am and opens at 8 am . You can study in study room which is available one in side of library and every hostel have their seperate study room,computer room, music room, dance room. There are many places to hangout like in campus thomso building, senate stairs , aarohi spot and all departments specially architect and hss department. Outside you can visit ganga canal. Haridwar is near by only . Mussoorie, rishikesh, dehradun are also not too far.
