For this course you must pass your 12th with 75% in PCM, you can find the application form on the official website. There are also some reservations that are based on caste and income of the individual family.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in learning the subject. Faculty are best they had a deep knowledge of their respective subject. And teaching skills of the faculty are outstanding. Most of the faculty are completely their Ph.D. from foreign universities.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 2026 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very high compared to a local state college. IITR almost charges RS 270000 per year. But don't worry there is also a lot of scholarship available on the basis of your family income.

Campus Life

IIT Roorkee campus is full of flora and fauna. there are major two annual fests conducted on our campus cogni and Thomson. The library is full of books. Almost 4 floor of the library is full of books and journals.

I got much marks in Chemistry and I also have affection with Chemistry , My courses prepare me for real chemistry world where I see the reaction ,UV lab etc. how they work and also learn me good time management.Institute should give opprunity to reasearch.The exam occurs in our college regurlarly like in every 1-2 months. Insights of IIT ROORKEE

Placement Experience:

In IIT ROORKEE placements are approx. 100%. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Adobe, Texas Instruments etc. In 2021 there are 1200 offers made to 960 students with the highest package of 2.5 cr (CTC) international and 1.8cr in India with 11 students getting more than 1 crore package. I am currently thinking of moving ahead with chemistry and doing a Ph.D. in it.

IIT ROORKEE had quite good placement offers. Almost 850 students get placed. If you will learn coding with your course you will get placed and also have a lot of opportunities for internships. If you can't get placed then you can also apply for of campus placement drive. Or you can go for higher studies.

I didnt applied for any other colleges other than some iits which were iit bombay, kanpur, roorkee, guwahati. Just these four and nothing because i got a decent rank in JEE Adv 2025. IIT ROORKEE - A SCRUPULOUS REVIEW

I took part in jossa councelling and got it . I was happy with any of seven old iits . In better way , i would be happy in going any top iit. Moreover i choose it because of it's weather and location. Rest all things are similar to all top iits. Nothing is less in iit roorkee. You have to give jee main then jee advanced. If you get good rank , you will get this college. You will have to get air under 5000 to get in iit roorkee or any top iit....Read More

1st year opinion of IIT Roorkee

I took admission from JEE (Main+Advance).Form could be found on NTA website. Some reservation benefits were , i got a bit higher brancher even though my rank was lower. Mains timing are morning shift and evening shift. As for advance it runs all day for 6 hours(with a break of 2 hour in between). Mains is easy , advance is a bit difficult....Read More
