Insights of IIT ROORKEE

Eligibility:- Any student who qualified jee mains and secured a rank in jee Advanced can get admission. The application form will be available on the official site of jee advanced and for the main visit jee main official site is run by nta. Yes, Reservation is there for different categories like OBC, Gen -Ews, SC, ST, and special seats are reserved for girls.

My interest in chemistry brings me to this college. Faculty is to student ratio is quite good which is 1:15. Per 15 students there is one faculty. All teachers are well qualified and most of them are having postdoc degrees and their teaching methodology is very good. Exams are frequent in IIT ROORKEE and it is not too hard to pass but you have to study continuously.

You will be eligible to a seat in an internship in the 3rd year if your course is for 4 years and if your course is for 5 years you will be eligible to seat in 4th year. This year many companies arrived such as Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata, etc. give more than a lakh per month for doing intern in their company. You have to be Good in programming and data science to crack the interview and the exams the intern.

In IIT ROORKEE placements are approx. 100%. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, American Express, Adobe, Texas Instruments etc. In 2021 there are 1200 offers made to 960 students with the highest package of 2.5 cr (CTC) international and 1.8cr in India with 11 students getting more than 1 crore package. I am currently thinking of moving ahead with chemistry and doing a Ph.D. in it.

For fees, you can visit the official site of IIT ROORKEE as it keeps changing for the different years But you will get a different scholarship from the institute. One such is a fee waiver. This scholarship is given to those students whose family income is less than 5 lakh per annum. MCM is a scholarship given in this college to those students whose CGPA is greater than 7. You can do some part-time job as you can teach some students to have your money.

Life on the campus is full of entertainment and adventure. You at IIT ROORKEE will be able to see the beauty of the main building and the campus. Thomso is the world famous cultural fest of IIT ROORKEE and Cognizance is the world's 3rd largest technical fest organized at IIT ROORKEE. There are many clubs in the college from technical to cultural there are many clubs. You will find many clubs of your interest. One such club is SDS Labs for design. PAG club for programming. Choreography section for dance etc.

The hostel facility is quite good in IIT ROORKEE here you will get good rooms with good bathroom facilities. Here a hostel is having their mess which is also quite good. The food quality is good and the menu keeps changing. In the morning you will get milk, butter, egg, banana, and bread which is compulsory for all days and in addition to this you will get Maggi, aloo Paratha etc. The registration process is very simple for this college the registration will be done at the time of your arrival. You will get a mail from the respective hostel and there you have to go for your registration for mess and hostel.
