- Course curriculum and syllabus is good.Provides comprehensive subject content accrding to the syllabus.
- The clubs are great they provide a good environment for self development
- Placement classes for practice are really great.They conduct various test according to the company practice also they make students do GD/PI practice for placements.
Dislikes
- New Faculties are not much great. Older ones were good but new faculty is not too good.
- Attendance matters a most here. If you have less attendance they charge heavy money for detention exams.
- main building infrastructure is quite dull.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as it has a scope in future. The faculty student ratio is 1:5. Proper Assignments and quizzes are held. Exams were moderate and were held timely. Special Placement classes called as Yoddha Classes are alsoheld for placemnt preparation. Overall Syllabus and course cuuriculum is good.
Internships Opportunities
Placement was provided by the university but internship opportunities were not given. Internships were given to find from your own. But placement assistance they provide really good. For Internships the faculty only guide or tell where internship can be found.
Placement Experience
Placements here are really good. Many companies and MNC's come here for placement. In Computer Science, majority of the companies are startups but mass recruiter companies like Capgemini,Accenture,Cognizant and Infosys come here. Recent highest placement in college was of 21 LPA in juspay. Capgemini hired bulk students from here 289 students were placed in the MNC in recent year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee is 170000 with a sum of 6000 as exam fee. Scholarships are available according to the rank in JEE or any other exams. The overall fee structure is affordable. Also if you opt for your state scholarship then you can easily afford this course. No other such expenses. At the time of admission you have to submit semester fee alongwith exam fee and caution money of 10k.
Campus Life
Social Life at GLA is average. Not much good not much bad. Events are improving time by time. Many Events take place here like DJNight, Poetry, Srijan ,Youth Parliament Also various clubs are there that promote good social life.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Faculty is average. It just depends on which hostel you get. There are many boys hostel but girls hostels are limited. Boys hostel rooms are good. Good furniture is provided also a gym is there. Similarily Girls hostel rooms are there. Some negative points are also there like Girls outing time is 6:45pm only after that they need to be in hostel only.
Admission
Entrance criteria is good but less students must be considered. Scholarship should be provided Hostel nd mess fee should be less. Placements should improve. More CS subjects should be added. New faculty is there.
Faculty
The older faculty who worked for more years here are good in their knowledge. Also they are supportive to students. They give assignments, proper tests Also quizzes are conducted throughout the semester. But the new faculty is not that good, They are also helpful but on knowledge basis they are far away from old faculty.
Night Life
There are many hangout places in the college. Around the college there is nothing to do as it is situated in highway so you wont get much around it but inside the college there are many places to hang out. Canteen is there but food is okayish. A subway called GD subway is also there where you can find variety of shops. Most of them are of fooding only but Mens Saloon and Girls Parlour is also there in this subway. Also a Gift shop and Playzone are recently opened.
