Course curriculum is up to date till now it comply with the current in going syllabus and focuses on the innovation and development of the students. Curriculum here is bases on West Bengal Skill and vocational board.

Company that give opportunities to the internship are Tata AIG, Indian oil petroleum, Infosys and many more repeated company offer internship to our fresh candidates which help them building career in degree they are working on.

Placement Experience

Placement from this college is good but student fails to grab that opportunity of placing them into the company because they want to go further studies which turns out in the result of less placement from this campus

Fees and Financial Aid

?1790 semister fee including everything for 1 year SVMCC scholarship for the students who have scored above 60% in the last exam. Here faculty are highly experienced and have more knowledge on the subject they are teaching.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good this college focuses on the overall development of the children which in further turns into the development in every activity which helps in building candidates aptitude which helps to get the job opportunity very easily.

Admission

It's quite reasonable as compared to other private institute which makes this more affordable to financially unstable student. I choose this because I am getting better opportunity in this field in my own district

Faculty

Here we have two semister in one year and in one semister we will have 40 marks internal And 60 marks external 40 marks internal consist of - 10 marks for assignment, 10 marks for attendance and 20 marks from internal assessment

Night Life

Nightlife in the college campus is very peace and calm. Here everyone stays in the hostel and doesn't disturb anyone hence in the warden is very strict and doesn't compromise when it comes to studies.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Placement Experience:

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

The Life at Darjeeling Polytechnic Institute

I had applied to Siliguri Institue of Engineering in Salbari, West Bengal and I got a confirmation from Darjeeling Polytechnic Institute. I had to apply to this institute because of finnancial problems. No, I was not rejected but I was facing some finnancial problems due to which I was not able to join the college. You need to have atleast 70% on your matriculation to be to fill up the registration form.
