Course Curriculum Overview
The reason behind that I choose this course is that I wanted to become clinical psychologist. The timings for exams differ with the slots that they give to us. The management has to be improved as well to arrange the seating plan. The frequency for exam should also be increased as it requires more of time.
Internships Opportunities
For my field internship is not provided. The placement cell basically serves for BBA courses and engineering courses. The projects are given by our professor's. They basically guide us with our research works. But sometimes this gets really hard as we receive a lot of research works from the professors during exam time only.
Fees and Financial Aid
Ba (H) Applied Psychology yearly fees is 70,000-/ +1500(examination fees). Registration fees- 20,000 There are scholarship that are provided for students who have annual income below than 2 lakhs. All legal documents are required to register for scholarship.
Campus Life
GBU is beautiful when it comes to infrastructure and beauty. There are various clubs in the college like Literary club, dance club, music club, photography club etc. Two annual fests are also held throughout the year that is Dawat e GBU and Abhivyanjana Annual sports event are also held. Central library is also very helpful when he have to research for any subject.
Hostel Facilities
The hod's of departments are the hostel wardens of various hostels. Mess food is also good comparative to other colleges some time. The registration for hostel and allotment are done when we do our new semester registration. The locality is also very peaceful. GBU serves as the perfect place for peaceful study.
Admission
I choose this college because I wasn't alloted from any of the colleges from DU. This college is also good in terms of academics but the disadvantage is that the crowd is not good of this college rest everything is fine. The eligibility criteria is you should have minimum 50% in the subject for humanities discipline.
Faculty
Faculties are very corporative when it comes to research works and other other project works. Exams are held twice a semester that is mid and end. All sort of departmental events are also held. In my department most of the students fail in the subjects. Attendance it mandatory for all departments.
Night Life
The night life is best in the campus but for girls we have time restrictions we have to be inside our hostel by 7:30. Hostel maintainance has to be improved and rooms are also small for double sharing. Sarovar, meditation centre and shopping complex servers as perfect places to hangout. The most famous cafe is the Buddha cafe and Grand street cafe.
