Course Curriculum Overview
Interdisciplinary Nature , Innovative subjects like AI , ML , Cloud Computing, etc , Career Opporutinities influenced me to choose this course. Courses like Internships and mandatory project work experience provide a platform to apply theoretical knowledge to practical problems. Improvements such as incorporating softskills , professional ethics should be included. Semester-end exams are well-timed, but pressure can increase when assigments and tests overlap.
Placement Experience
In fourth year students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like IBM , Acccenture , Synchron, etc visited to our college. Average package till now is about 4LPA and highest is 12LPA. Based on the course the students getting placed is dependant , overall 80% students get placed including trainee. My plans are to crack incampus placement interviews and also can pursue masters after that.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise the fees i paid is 77813.00 in this tuition fees - 57392 , Develoment fees - 17217 , University Chages - 600, Caution Money Deposit - 1000 , Amartya Shikshan Yojana - 454 , University Eligibility Fees - 650 , Form Fees - 500. The fees i paid was under EWS category. For SC, ST the Total fees is 3204.00 in which development fees and tution fees are not considered and remaining expenses as per given above.For NT,SBC , VJ , TFWS the total fees is 20421.00 in which development fees is 17217 and remaining expenses are similar. For Open category the total fees is 135204.00 . Scolarships i avail are EBC and Punjabrao Deshmukh Scholarships.
Campus Life
Technical Fest "Engineering Today" , held in september showcasing talent through various competitions like hackathons , Treasure Hunt , Robo Race , AR/VR, etc , Mock inetrviews, etc. Cultural Fest "Shivanjali" held in February give students opportunities to show their talent in dance , music , drama, etc. Comprehensive collection of core engineering books including GATE , CAT also books like biographies , themed books , perosnality development, etc. Magzine team do the great contribution by presenting achivements in various sports and extra curricular events of college. Inter-Department sports are held in college. Students run Social Groups, Clubs( Coding Club , Robotics Club , Electronics Club). They provide platforms for skill development , leaderships and career building.
Admission
I applied to many of colleges like COEP , VIT , PCCOE , Cummins , DY Patil as their cutoff and placement ratios were high. I got rejected in these college as my marks were not up it. As i was diploma student my last year marks were considered for this course.Admission process was not very tough as only require the necessary documents as per caste and category.
Faculty
Every class has allocated some mentors for students wellbeing . Mentor booklet is maintained by them to streghthen the relation between students and their respective mentors. Faculty have a good behviour towards students who encourage them to participate in various competitions. Some faculties consider attendance of each student very strictly. The teaching method is very effective as doubts are cleared personally. There are 2-3 unit tests for practice and 2 main exams, 'Insem of 30 marks' and 'Endsem of 70 marks.'
Night Life
Libarary and Reading Hall Area is my most Favourite area in campus as we can explore more inetersting things and can have group discussions. Campus Hostel Timing is till 8-9pm. College has a big playground at back of it, students mostly like to hang out their and spend qaulity time as basketball court , horse riding is also available.
