Remarks

I chose this college because I did not get the stream what I want from other colleges as my jee score is not that great but I don't regret now and the admission process is very long literally I have to wait 3 months before getting my name on the list of the college for admission as admission is done on the basis of your jee scorecard and 12th and 10th marksheet. Cutoff for this college is that you got above 60% marks in your 12th aggregate and above 60 percentile in jee then you have a chance to get shorlisted for the btech program.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Total strength of students in my class is 67 in btech computer science and I say equal girls boys ratio is there overall , It is a very cultural diversed university students come from various countries like saudi arabia, iran etc. Peer group is also good, students have knowledge of their interest field and very eager to learn

Internships Opportunities

0.5

College does not provide any internship , they only provide placement in 4th year , there are students societies and clubs which help you to get internship offcampus, highest stipend offer to a student is 2 lakh a month, there are ppo chances also if you worked hard

Placement Experience

1.5

Placements at Jamia Hamdard University is descent , the avg package of University is 5-6LPA, there are some students also who got 14lpa, 20lpa, 22lpa etc. some of my seniors is placed at google, microsoft , amazon , accenture, IBM and samsung. mostly companies are hire in bulk .

Fees and Financial Aid

So fees is like I only know for Btech that there are only 3 streams computer science with specialization in Artificial Intelligence , computer science and last is Electronics and communication and fees Rs150000,Rs120000,Rs110000 (per semester), this fees structure is not accurate but you get the Idea for accurate you can refer to college website. There are some fee waiver also for category students and also scholarship .

Campus Life

2

Campus is very big and very beautiful lush green, and university infrastructure is also descent. Sports facilities are also provided by the university , very big cricket and football ground with flood lights equipped and basket ball court also there and there is indoor sports complex also which have gym, badminton court, table tennis also . About the university auditorium is also very big and university also has central library which has end number of books for all programs which are very easily accessible . hostel is 10-15 mins far from college, students usually prefer walking but they can also bring bike and car also in the university. There are many food stalls and canteen at every 5-10 mins walking distance. There is very big medical center , all the doctors and nurse are qualified. Overall campus life at Jamia hamdard University is good , night life is awesome peaple gathered in common room and in the street of university for fun activities , someone play guitar also , locality is also safe students travel in the night at restaurants . There are fests and cultural events also , there are various clubs and societies also like Hacked club , ignite society, epoch and so many

Hostel Facilities

1.5

I didn't get a hostel though but I know hostel facilities are good like good mess , wifi connection , common room , good rooms fully air conditioned , indoor sports complex also there for hostelers, hostels are guarded by security officers . Hostels facilities are good, there are different types of sharing rooms 2-3 , there are all basic amenities like Ac, cooler, geyser, wifi, almirah, study table , beds etc . washrooms are cleaned every day, there is a common washroom students used to share.

Exam Structure

So admission process is same as compare to other colleges or university that you have to fill the college application form and submit all your documents which is asked in that form and on the basis of your eligibility criteria , you grades shortlisting is done and it is very long so you have to be patient , and application form you can expect in april or may month , coming to admission process when you are shortlisted you get email for confirmation of your admission then you are required to pay the fees for your program , once you pay the fees then you have to visit the college for document verification , once your verification is done you have successfully admitted in your program. Jee is required for the btech admission , if you scored above 60 percentile then you have a chance to get shortlisted for btech . There is no other way to get admission in this university you have to give exams that is required for programs.

Faculty

2

Yes, in the first and second semesters some or atleast half of the students are bound to fail in few of the subjects in the humanities department. Courses are not much tough. GU seems to prefer their own students over ours in providing marks. It gets difficult for students of masters degrees to clear these backlog papers later. This is a bad aspect of our college that answer sheets are not checked by our own college faculties and are sent to GU for checking. There is one sessional exam per semester and the semester end exams. In a day there are 4-5 classes a day. Timings - 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Fridays are half days till 12.30 pm. There is one hour break and sometimes two in between the classes. Faculties mostly prefer oral explanation and simplifications of topics and some also prefer dictating notes. I liked Kalpa Jyoti sir and Padminee Gohain ma'am as they are very friendly and approachable. I personally did not like the head of Sociology department, her name is Rinku Borah, that is because she speaks very fast which makes it difficult for students to grab and she is not very regular for classes and does not complete her syllabus before exams. There is not mandatory attendance for Masters students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was studying, students were doubling down to study Software engineering, no matter which stream they belong too. But now, Electronics and Communication has become an important area to study as it holds promosing carreer options in the age of AI where we need Chips and hardware design, server management. People in mechanical engineering can excel if they focus on building something rather than just studying. In order to prepare for real world applications, one has to do a lot of things rather than sticking to only one persuit. I don't have much to suggest something in course carriculam and this college has best teaching methods regardless what they are taught. Students have ample time to do things they like in every semister. Studying for nearly 2 weeks before sessional exams and 1 month before final exams is enough and rest of the time can be dedicated into building something important.
