Remarks

i applied for Apeejay Stya University i got confirmed admission from this university as well but i chose jamia hamdard over Apeejay Stya University as the latter is private and jamia hamdard is semi government university and due to its naac rank from previous years i gave neet exam but I wasn't qualified for government medical college so pharmacy was the good second option for me, i got in this college through my neet marks even though cuet exam was also eligible cutoff for the neet exam for this college was around 300 .Admission process was not much smooth we do get the confirmed admission mail but it was too much delayed

Course Curriculum Overview

2

about 50 is the usual strength of the class and class have 70 students, girls to boys ratio is 40 to 60,they are from different regions like jammu and kashmir, delhi, bihar, uttar pradesh yes marks is given for being attentive in class

Internships Opportunities

1

placements are not so good in college although some good companies or allies of hamdard comes to recruit but not in any high amount usually sunpharma recruit students which give stipend for 2 lakkh per annum

Placement Experience

1

no not everyone gets placed but most of them gets placed in this college itself and given a high amount of salary preferred companies are sunpharma pfizer yes the placement committee is quite transparent

Fees and Financial Aid

yearly fees is around 1 and half lakh rupees . fees do not vary for different categories only regular students and sfs which means self sponsored students who pay more than regular students scholarships are for financially challanged people only hostel fees around 90000

Campus Life

2

sports facilities are good table tennis badminton football basketball shot put cricket for both girls and boys running marathon and even fun activities like lemon in a spoon race there is gym in the college but subscription is required for that most students gonto cafeteria they are super good and affordable cafeterias are open late night even i don't see much students roaming around college as the hostel entry closes around 9 pm the locality is not much safe for girls at night some celebs came like salman ali

Hostel Facilities

1.5

yes both are separate no they are not allowed to enter in girls hostel first come first served policy and 9 pm is the last time to enter in hostel there are 2 guards pe hostel yes each cafetaria for each hostel i don't live in hostel so i have only limited knowledge about it some hostels has ac some don't it all depends if you try to get it first because of big crowd the mess is good washrooms are cleaned regularly

Exam Structure

neet exam is most preferred score around 300 yes there is possibility by sfs by paying more if you got less marks Counselling process is quite slow it comes through their websites so easy to access by multiple list of names of students selected

Faculty

Course is easy you will not get failed easily if you are studying one week before your examination There would be two sessional exams of 15 marks each which will take place in oct first week and second sessional in November first week .. there will be 4 subjects ... you will be given with 4 questions in which 3 should be done one question carry 5 marks so 15 marks in total for each subject which will add with your end sem result.. And one end sem exam in month of January in the first week There is no such attendance restrictions..you have maintain good with your teachers they will help you if they observe good academic number in your paper .. 50-60% attendance is enough . Faculties are PhD holders they are enough fair in their work you have to pay attention properly in classes then only you will be able to grab concepts clearly.. classes timing will be 10to5 or 5:30 .. There will be a lot of gaps in between classes which you can utilise to study in library or you can chill with your friends.

The curriculum is not good. Delhi University should focus much better on the curriculum.. There's no need of subject like evs, swach bharat, and all for a college student... The timetable is manageable..

I was preparing for CA also that's why I opted for Bcom, rest no other factors. But the curriculum of the college was best. They covered our whole syllabus on time. Everything was just perfect. There's semester system at my time. Every year we have 2 semester exams and you can clear the exam if you have studied everything your teacher taught. Examination level was moderate only.
