Course Curriculum Overview

3

New course was added to GTU syllabus in 2019 which seems outdated in this fast growing world, under the pressure of NEP, new course in first year students is added like AI/ML, electronics workshop etc in first year, and a planning to change syllabus by upcoming years is futurised. Relevance is better in core subjects.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are two category of paid and unpaid In unpaid internships, the learnings are less and timings are not specified. While in paid internships, you require some basic skills like coding, DBMS etc which enhance your profile and helps you to get it done. While the pay scale doesn't match as per expectations and leads to completing it harshly.

Placement Experience

4

It gives mandatory one year internship programme. After that the placement season goes from 8-9 months, which includes tedious process of aptitude test and interview. Reliance, MICRON, ADANI, MG MOTORS, CEAT TYRES, CADENCE, E - INFOCHIP, L&T, and many more Highest package of Computer goes from 9.5-10 LPS THAN comes ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION, WHICH CLOSES AROUND 8-9 LPA after degree, best way to attain more core knowledge is to complet masters and that's my plan too

Fees and Financial Aid

1. First year fee 1500 2. Second year fee 1800 Tuition fee 1080 + variable cost - Includes library facilities, canteen and I card facilities - EWS has fee waver scheme - Quota Students have half fee waver policy including management, sc and st students

Campus Life

5

Campus life brings your network to a great extention as you have the exposure of different clubs, different societies and technical hackathons and different opportunities like annual fest increases your brain to explore startups and different cultures Library owns more than 1500 books of different fields and also many e-books. Which covers most of the syllabus. Classrooms are getting upgraded by grants of govt. Also alumni network helps to build the upcoming future. It is also mandatory to understand the ROI of this college is very nice. And faculties are trained with all the equipments There is a special wing for sports enthusiasts and club activities provide a wide range of extracurricular activities which is supported by the faculties also.

Admission

- LDCE is one of the premier institutes of Gujarat with many perks like firm faculties, great alumni network, good facility etc - If money is primary issue, this college seems perfect suit. No matter if quota is applied, one can apply to Nirma but it is better to choose LD if you are planning for masters or going abroad Admission in this college can be done only through ACPC Gujarat. After giving GUJCET which is compatible to JEE for colleges in gujarat

Faculty

2

Due to the government funded institute, faculties are appointed only when they clear GPSC which makes them different from another teachers. Great depth knowledge of faculty in required field is key to teach in this college 16:1 is the student to faculty ratio and it turns out to be more than enough Many faculties such as Maj DR. Chaitanya Sanghvi, Dr Nirali Kotak mam, Dr CH vithlani and many more faculties are very supportive and helpfull

Night Life

5

Girls have a bounded timing of hostel, girls hostel closes at 7:30 pm. Boys hostel don't have any such timing. Major necessity of library is available 24*7. The locality is absolutely safe to roam with many different places like Chinky Chinese, famous Franky points and tea junctions. For girls, there are reading rooms in hostel and also during day time, there is special girls room which has library, and game room

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did write the course curriculum and Indus university as good and relevant. Overall I chose this course because it has strong fundamentals project work and practical exposure. The curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and internships, Though it could include more advanced tech technologies and industry certifications exams are regular, each semester and moderate, challenging, encouraging consistent study, but sometimes could be more practical oriented.

Reviewed on Jan 24, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and covers all the basic and important subjects related to the field. This course includes both theoretical and practical subjects which influenced my decision to choose it. The syllabus helps in building strong fundamentals, but it is still more theory-oriented and less industry-focused. It prepares students for exams and higher studies, but for real-world skills, students need to do extra courses and self-practice. The exams are conducted every semester along with internal tests and are moderate in difficulty level. If a student studies regularly, the exams are not very difficult to clear. The curriculum should be updated more frequently and more practical, project-based and industry-related topics should be added.
