Course Curriculum Overview

4

The university often holds curricular activities like science exhibition, seminars with good specialist speaker expert in the field. University fest is also held. Sports is also held for 1 week and for hostellers there's different sports week for them aswell. Exam timing is for 3 hours i.e from 9A.M- 12P.M Difficulty Level is moderate to tough. But with the teachers explanation there's no doubt that the students will do bad.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are minimal. For B.Sc (Hons) 20,000 per semester. We can avail scholarship from state government which is around 15,000 rupees, For merit they get more than non merit students but it depends upon the course we choose. For example an engineering students will get around 30,000 rupees and it comes in instalment basis

Campus Life

4

Fest like Cultural show, Ignite fest which is held in March second week. Singing competition are also held. Accessiblility to Library is always welcome, you can go and borrow books from the librarian. You can find all the books that you require. Classroom are usually big and clean with smart classes which makes it easier for the students to understand. Extra curricular activities are held so that students don't engage only to studies but they get expose to different field which the university ensure to do the best and they do. Which is a thumbs up. There are different clubs like singing, green club and sports club.

Admission

I cannot talk about other college as my first preference was this college. It is the best college in the state with all the top faculties. The admission process is very simple. You just have to go to the counter take admission form and submit it and then they'll take an interview of yours. After that if you are selected then they'll allow you to take an admission. There's no hassle in admission process

Faculty

4

According to my experience, my department faculties were top notch, they all hold Doctorate degrees, their friendly behaviour makes us feel good and with their best knowledge they got, they give us the best information of our course. Exam patterns are good. There's two internal exam for 40 marks( each subject) and one external exam i.e end semester which is for 60 marks. From all the total marks they divide by 2 and the remaining marks are allotted according to our performance in class and extra curricular activities

Night Life

4

There are two cafeteria inside the campus and many more outside the gate of the campus. The foodings are too good. Gyms are available for hostellers. Which is from morning 6A.M-10P.M The hostel is inside the campus which make it safe for us and even the administrators stay under the same campus so that they make sure everything is safe for the students

I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

I like the subject (Chemistry) because it is interesting in a way. We get to know many new things. The teachers doesn't care much about preparing us for any such pursuits. There is need for improvements in many curriculums and teaching methods. The class starts by 9AM in the morning and ends by 2:30PM in the afternoon.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, the curriculum had 0 impact on my decision like most students do? Like i said the curriculum has a good blend of all the topics a physics should should be good at and has a healthy number of important practicals as well to prepare us for the real world Well, i would adopt a modern method of teaching using slides and videos in a projector instead of the classic white board and pen especially for the topics of physics which require images and well drawn images and processes to fully understand it The frequency of exam is low.

Reviewed on Nov 18, 2023(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I find Zoology a very fun subject. It is the study of animals, both living and extinct, including their anatomy, embryology, genetics, habits, and many more. The faculty members are very friendly and understanding. They're easy to approach and not only that their teachings are good. They're always ready to help when we're in need. For the science stream, there is a practical exam before the final theory exam. Also, the class test depends upon the respective professors of each stream. The exam question papers were issued by the NU board and not by the college. The question paper is average. It also depends on how well you prepare for the exam.
