Remarks

It's a very good College if you work hard and show interest in your domain. It provides you the material,path and knowledge. All you have to do is put your efforts together and catch the opportunity.

Course Curriculum Overview

In first year irrespective of branches important subjects common to all are taught. In second year student go to their respective branches. Where Courses of there domain are being taught. 8 semesters are there,Exam in every 6 months for every sem.

Placement Experience

The placement record of sgsits is best in madhya pradesh. Many Dream companies visit the campus to recruitment the deserving students. This companies also offer internship. Recently a company offered 1.5 lakhs for two months to it's interns from our College.

College Events

Every Festival is celebrated in campus. Many clubs are there in college and they organise many fest and competitive in every semester. College also organise Aavahan and Aayam like events every year. If you are interested in extracurricular activities these is the right place.

Fee Structure And Facilities

College fee is less as compared to other colleges and also sgsits have many facilities for students so the fees is very low. Also scholarships are provided to support the students and Fees is paid every sem wise.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government Scholarship programs are being offered by College and students need to enroll in that CV before deadline every sem and have to maintain 75% attendance criteria to get the scholarship. I don't have idea about loan facility.

Campus Life

College gym , Indoor sports centre , hi-tech labs and big library all accessible to students are there. Students can enroll in gym for joining it. Sports centre is free to all. Library card are made to access library area. Latest equipments are made available in labs.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network of sgsits is very strong. Alumni are working in big MNCs so they bring companies to the campus. Also sometimes they take expert lecture to inform students about the right track and guide them to bright future.

Faculty

Faculty of College are well educated most of them are from IIT's and PhD holders. They have enough experience and exposure to teach. They provide enough and fair opportunities for students to come and discuss there problems.

SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

Placement Experience:

At the end of 2nd year, companies like goldman sachs comes to take interns. For placements students become eligible from 6th or 7th semester. In recent years goldman sachs is the biggest recruiter, oracle and Deloitte have also recruited, other firms like tcs and infosys also come. Giants like Amazon and google have stopped visiting since few years. Last year highest package was 72 lpa to an ece student. Average lies around 8 lpa. In tech branch 70-80% students are placed. In lower branches 50-60% students are placed. My plan is also to get placed at a decent package after completion of course.

The college have good placements as far as I got to know. The highest package was 8500000 lpa last year and average package was 1900000 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get god job in ECE cire company.

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
