Course Curriculum Overview

4

First of all the upcoming opportunities in the dental field. Subjects like forensic dentistry are getting introduced which automatically increase the amount of chances you have to get a job at different industries. This college definitely shapes you into a proper dentist who is ready to face the real world. And this happens by socialising and understanding the people who are teaching you and are around you including your batchmates and seniors. Difficulty level of the professional examination is definitely medium to hard, but it all depends on how well you have grasped the subjects throughout the academic year.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship is provided to every student of batch which is a necessary part of medical curriculum. It's not like those in the btech course or any other course. It's not very clear to me as I am just a second year student.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual tuition fees for the college is ?3,42,000. This has been fixed by the Uttarpradesh Government. The examination fees for the professional exam is ?20,000. There are other type of expenses like of the white apron , dental tools and books but that is totally optional you can buy it from outside the college. The annual hostel fees during my admission was ?95,000 but this year i.e. 2024-25 it was ?1,00,000. Scholarships are not available for students but you can definitely apply for other scholarships on the state government site.

Campus Life

5

We have college fest like the Amistad which is full of competition like debates , singing , dancing and a lot of sports events that include football, cricket and volleyball. It is a 3 day event which is concluded by dj night and a concert. We have a lot of seminars and other conventions which include a lot of extracurriculum.

Hostel Facilities

3

In my opinion hostel is not that great in terms of infrastructure. Boys have a common washroom and so do girls , the hostels are obviously seperate. You are provided with a bed and table with fan and tubelight included. You can either opt for single room or a double sharing room. You just need to inform the management if you are willing to stay in hostel and you can also visit the hostel during your visit. Mess is average, food is sometimes good and sometimes just edible .

Admission

Other colleges are either really expensive or they don't have a proper working dental hospital . This is the best private dental college in North India. The admission process is smooth as the management helps you throughout the counselling process of neet and hopefully you won't face any difficulties .

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is somewhere around for 10:1 and that is because the batch is divided into half as batch a and batch b and these two have different lab sessions during the same time and same day but lectures are attended by all the students together of a single batch. Every faculty is really good it won't justify if I take name of one and don't include the other. The number of faculty members you won't like are none . Talking about the exams , there are 3 terminal examinations that are conducted by the college and 1 professional examination conducted by the university almost at the end of academic year.

Interview Experience

5

There was no such discussion and interview at the time of admission just a regular neet counseling procedure follow up and that's it you are ready to attend classes after orientation. Orientation is full pf enthusiastic students and their parents while the management and the principal give you a brief introduction about themselves.

Night Life

5

A cricket match followed by the classes is a must. And then Nescafe's maggi is also important part of daily routine. Poeple tend to sit on the basketball coirt to chatter during the evening time. A tea in canteen makes all your fatigue go away after a long day and senior junior conversation and interaction is like icing on a cake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this course provide the tag I wanted , that's why I took this course . And bds itself provide specialization in teeth Like if we do MDS we would be a master in this field. For improvement I would suggest that they should use more flowcharts to teach . The frequency of exams is perfect, and I have heard that the difficulty level is increasing now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course over MBBS , I LIKE THIS BETTER , you're a specialised doctor just after graduating, you're ready for the outside world, to earn money , better career options . About exams, nothing is too difficult if you study properly. Its normal difficulty if you study its easy ,if you don't study its gonna be hard. Notes system should be removed . More tests should take place like fortnightly test . Dissection is a must.

Placement Experience:

Dentistry is not a semester based placement programme. After BDS, students can be employed in the private dental clinic of ITS itself, or they can secure jobs from big hospital names like Fortis, Clove Dental Clinics, Max and Apollo. • The average package of students per month has been 3 lakh rupees. My plans after the degree are to get a campus placement, and practise for some time. During this time i would be earning good money and focusing on my NEET MDS preparation at the same time.
