Remarks

CUSP is the main sporting event which is celebrated in the college, which includes many indoor and outdoor sporting activities such as Kho-Kho, painting, rangoli competition, badminton, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was good but outdated. Only textbook knowledge was shared with the students. Practical learning is very limited.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are limited. But students usually get a chance of residential practice in the associated hospitals. But there's no stipend for the internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One year fee for a BDS course was 5 lakhs and the total course would cost you around a whopping sum of 20 lakhs. I took a student loan to pay for my tuition fee. Although I got a fee concession during my third year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, our college offers multiple scholarships for deserving students. Students have to clear the minimum eligibility like being university topper, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is good and more importantly affordable. The one year fee for the hostel is 20K. The food and other facilities are also quite good. The hostels are very spacious.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Admission

The admission is on the basis of NEET UG and the state common counseling process. On the basis of the merit list, you will be allotted colleges.

Based on the findings of the study, the common factores that influence me were external influences, affordability, practicality, personal preference, environemnt , facilities, interest.as it is a dental college so the main focus was opd patients which is quite good in this college. Every year there is slight variation when it comes to exams. They are not as difficult as we think.if we have studied well then exams are good to go. We have 2 terminal exams and then proffesional exam which is the final exam the question paper of terminals is a bit harder then terminals as it helps us to prepare better for the final exam and the passing criteria in all exams is 50% in all subjects

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a neet aspirant only i decided i want to go for BDS and not MBBS for BDS is a more specialized course focusing only on the oral cavity and care. There are in total 9 branches under BDS and each branch in itself has huge scope in outer world. We start dealing with real patients from third year only so we have real experience of everything and by the time internship completes, we have enough knowledge to open a clinic of our own. And best part, BHU provides 50% internal qouta for its students so we've a better chance of getting a good pg seat from such a prestigious institution.
