Course Curriculum Overview

5

The patient satisfaction The smile that you bring on someones face when you give him/ her their denture or when you relieve their painfrom the tooth that is incredible. The curriculum starts providing us patients from the 3rd year itself so that we can develop trust and a wonderful bond with our patients. No improvement needed we can incorporate digital dentistry more with the classic dentistry as this is increasing demand for dentistry future. The frequency and timing of exams are perfect from my side but difficulty increases when you have 8 subjects during the final year as everyone rushes to get their syllabus completed and students have lot of pre clinical work to do. That makes life of a budding dentist quite difficult if they are not managing and utilising their times properly

Internships Opportunities

5

The stipend for internship is 2250 per month with 24 CASUAL LEAVES. You get to work eoth clove Dental as a customer executive and as a role distributor You can also work as a clinicians after a period of time. You can work with the college too at satellite posting in remote areas where you need to provide dental service to the individuals there. The college provides you with a clinical setup and you can treat patients there.

Placement Experience

5

The students become eligible for campus placement by the end of their internship. The companies visiting college are Clove Dental, Dentalkart, Felix hospital, Appollo hospitals and various other clinics and hospitals from nearby. Several insurance and healthcare companies too join hands in in campus placements. The highest package offered as a fresher is of 30K per month and the profiles offered are of clinicians, Research analyst, customer executive. The placement is open for all students but only those who wish to work with their heart and agrees to the Terms and Conditions of the company get selected. My plans are different some focus on jobs some on clinics it's our own personal interest So I have my interest in clinics

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 3.24 lacs per annum for 4 consecutive years and during the internship period your earn a small amount of stipend on monthly basis and you dont have to pay for the 5th year. The college fees has now been updated to 3.65 lacs per annum. It also includes security fees of 50000 which is refundable. People from jammu get scholarship which they get renewed every year.

Campus Life

5

Occlusion is a fest that is held by ITS DENTAL COLLEGE annually, once a year it is hosted at Muradnagar and once a year it is hosted at GREATER NOIDA. Celebrities are invited to perform and it is a gala fest. There is intra college fest too named Vibgyor which is held annualy and all the events are managed properly along with the esteemed judges. There is a wide range of books and journal available in the library that can be availed both online and offline both in campus and out of campus so we have a digital library which is accessible at any point of time. We have smart classroom that has a projector and a white board along with stylus and all the procedures and machines are shown to us both digitally and physically. Sports and extracurricular activities like basketball football cricket badminton and TT are available for students to play . Pawsome is a social group which is run by a senior of our college which provides meal and reflecting collars for the stray dogs for free.

Admission

I chose this college because first of all I was a day scholar so travelling everyday from delhi was not possible for a college which was very far away so I chose this college as this is close to NCR and Delhi. The patient flow and and course fee was very reasonable of this college as compared to Sharda and other colleges ITS DENTAL COLLEGE has maintained a quality over the past years which other colleges don't or are unable to maintain that's why I chose this college. Sharda college has an environment of drug addicts and rich lads showing off their money it's not a college where students study they are just spending money and buying degrees ITS was earlier affilated to CCS, now it is affiliated to AVB UNIVERSITY LUCKNOW so the exam conducted go smooth and you get what you deserve it is totally true not like sharda or other private universities where exams are fun The admission process follows NEET UG guidelines and everything is fair and goes by the procedure, counselling by UP NEET DGME

Faculty

5

The faculties are totally approachable at any point of time untill and unless they are busy with patients. The faculty to student ratio is of 1:30 respectively. The faculty members make strong and healthy relationship with students Dr Ashish Sharma and Dr Himanshu Bhutani sir from Oral and maxillofacial surgery Dr Rohit kocchar sir and Dr Navneet kaur maam from endodontics, Dr Amrita puri maam and Dr Anshul singla maam from Ortho , Dr praachi pathak maam is an awesome pedodontist, Dr Shivesh sir, Dr Gunjan maam and Dr priyanka maam are awesome periodontist. Dr Aditya Chaudhary sir is an awesome prosthodontist and implantologist. Each and every faculty members have their own way of doing different works but overall everyone is awesome. There is no one whom you can't dislike. There are basically 3 exams to go and the last one is the final university exam, The 2 internals and the third one is a sent up examination which is a full syllabus exam after which university exams prevail. Only those students who don't study fail the exams rest of them pass with flying colors so on an average only 2-3 students fail in a batch of 100 students. The course curriculum is totally relevant.

Night Life

4

The college's favourite hangout spot is Alok bhaiya cafe in our college then it's infinity or a hawker Yogesh bhaiya who is famous for chole parantha kulche and chai Some of the people who are capable of long walks can visit the hideout cafe in the engineering branch and a juice corner beside it that gives you a variety of shakes and cold coffee. Library is full during the university exams and opens everyday from 8 in the morning till 10 pm in the night The library has AC separate cabins and soundproof glasses to make sure you are available sound and can concentrate. Besides there are cafes nearby like Trees and treat cafe and The Circle Cafe The campus timings are 8:30am to 3:30pm

Choosing a career is one of the most important decision of life, and for me, opting for BTS was a decision drive by a deep interest in healthcare From a young age, I was always curious about the signs of the human body. Dentistry is a unique blend of medicine, artistry, and the patient care As I learn about the field, I discovered the dentistry is not only treating teeth, but also about improving a person's self-esteem, comfort, and overall health Improvements in the course curriculum - early exposure to clinical practice -Enhance focus on soft skill and patient communication -Emphasis on time management, stress management management

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a neet aspirant only i decided i want to go for BDS and not MBBS for BDS is a more specialized course focusing only on the oral cavity and care. There are in total 9 branches under BDS and each branch in itself has huge scope in outer world. We start dealing with real patients from third year only so we have real experience of everything and by the time internship completes, we have enough knowledge to open a clinic of our own. And best part, BHU provides 50% internal qouta for its students so we've a better chance of getting a good pg seat from such a prestigious institution.
