Remarks

Our department pay a lot of emphasis on sports. Along with sports we supported many awareness programs, like no Tobacco Day.

Entrance Preview

I did my MDS in Pedodontics from the Avadh Institute of Dental Sciences. The college is good in terms of academics. For the rest of the facilities, I don’t have anything negative to say as such. Some of the faculty is good, most of the visiting facility is good. Campus life is good too.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure was quite elaborative. For the first few years, we were taught about the general medicines, human anatomy, preclinical dentistry. During the latter years we were given an in-depth knowledge of endodontics and other disciplines.

Placement Experience

4

The Avadh Institute provides training and placement programmes. They maintain their own placement cell and job placement to its student efficiency. Along with the package of 6 lakh and above per annum.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The tuition fee, alone, is gonna cost you around 11 lacs per annum. This fee is excluding the registration, fooding and miscellaneous charges. After one year an extra sum of 100,000 INR is charged. So all in all, you must have strong financial backing if you are planning to go for a MDS program.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is pretty good in the college. There’s an anti-ragging cell within the campus. Students are pretty friendly and the college provides an ideal atmosphere for coherent learning experience

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel is gonna cost you around 4k/month. The hostel is good and the food is just fine. The warden is strict, but you will eventually end up making a lot of friends in the hostel.

Admission

The admission is on the basis of the UG NEET entrance exam. The better you score, better college you will be allotted.

Remarks:

One of the most positive procedures of our college is the presence of digital tutorials regarding dental health on the official website of the college. The faculty of the college upload several videos on the official website through which the students can learn more about the oral hygiene. Apart from it, regular dental camps and dental clinics are set up by the faculty for the development of the students.

They should focus on student welfare. or at least listen to their problems. the principal of my college was an extra brilliant person who makes student suffer for his personal gains. This is the reason students are discontinuing the course and leaving. Seats remain vacant coz of misbehaving with the students, while others are discontinuing the course.
