Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum provides a strong foundartion in computer science basics but needs updates to include more inductry relavant topic like AI and cloud. Exams are moderatly tough, held twice per semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The annual fee structure for all branches are the same however they may vary based on the category. Genera(open): Around Rs.105000 Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBS): Aroung Rs.55000 for OBC and Rs.15000 for SC/ST.
Campus Life
Campus life at MNIET is vibrant, with annual festivals like Techvista, Trechcult and Vihangam drawing active participation. The library is well stacked with all sorts of books of all genre. Classroom are equiped with basic teach aids. Sports facilities include cricket, football, and basket ball court. Student led clubs like coding club and Robootics Societ and Literary Circle forster community and skill building.
Admission
I applied to three college, PICT, MIT and NMIET, but based on my MHTCET score I got NMIET. I choose NMIET Because of its perks like, Affordable fees, Location Advantage, Student friendly Environment and Balanced Curriculum. The proocess of admission is through MHTCET and the eligibility is at around 95-96 percentile.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is about 1:20 in most department. Most of the faculties are approachable and willing to help students with academic queries. Faculties like Prof. Pritam Ahire Sir and Dr. Chandrakant Kokane Sir are really admirable and their teaching methods are hands on and research oriented, making subject highlt relatable to real world. Every faculty has their own way to taeching, can pick out any least favourite one. Exam structure: One internal Exam of 30 marks. One practical of 25-50Marks. One final exam of 70marks.
Night Life
Nighlife around NMIET is modest, as it's located in a quieter suberb with limited late night activities. the campus has a cafeteria open until 8pm, and library closes by 5pm. Popolar student hangout includes Amruta Pure veg, Papal Misal and Uttam Sweets nearby, both known for affordable and relaxed vibes. The area is generally safe at night, though students usually stick to groups when venturing out late.
