Course Curriculum Overview

The course content provides sufficient exposure to required knowledge in the field though it is advisable to seek additional resources outside the course for better understanding. Coursework is not too hard and can be managed by the student.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 135000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 135000 for unreserved categories and EWS and SC ST categories get full fee reimbursement from the State government Additional fees are charged such as lab fees and fees to join a few clubs among others

Campus Life

The campus life is okay but not the best compared to other colleges. Fair few number of groups of which few are student run, they are worth checking out if interested. Good availability of books in the library suited to course requirements.

Admission

This college was the best one for the rank I earned in the entrance examination for core CSE, but there are other options in slightly better colleges but not in core CSE. Admissions are through the state entrance exam and are managed by the government body ensuring smooth process.

Faculty

The faculties of the college are well qualified for the posts with most of them having doctorates. Good attention to detail is paid and most of the doubts raised are resolved effectively by the faculty promptly.

Interview Experience

The college admission process is through the state entrance examination. It consists of 160 questions of which 80 are maths and the rest are divided equally among physics and chemistry. The difficulty is in finishing the questions in the stipulated time. Also if the candidate isn't a local, they will face difficulty compared to a local candidate for the same rank.

Night Life

Since I am a day scholar I cannot provide much input in this field but according to others the night life is alright but curfew time is earlier than expected. Fair few hangout spots are available I believe

Placement Experience:

From 3 -1 only students become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited for our college was Jpmorgan,google,microsoft,Infosys capgemini tcs etc.. The highest package in our college was 54 lpa from Microsoft and average packages were 5-10lpa the percentage of getting placements by students is 75% and my plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement in a MNC's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would 3 out of 5 because only the basic they thought in every college while getting the job they ask advance concept but I can that the course curriculum has improved now and they are preparing students for further jobs. My campus life and experience

Placement Experience:

Until know i got some info among the placements and internships is that yes, this college is providing campus placements good as some of the recent companies were Infosys, Capgemini,and other companies drive has been conducted in the college for the 4rth years. So the placements are good here no worrys too. But the LPA is less a bit like in the past years as the software industry is getting more hard to get jobs.

There are many companies costing the campus for recruitement like Accenture ,Infosys , keka , Accenture , infor etc and many other startup . They mostly consider students from Cse background but even allow others if they have skills . Accenture and cognisant will hire many students and there pay would be around 5 lakh per year for service roles . If they take for other roles then the salary is more 60-70% people get placed , some prefer doing masters even though they are placed
