Course Curriculum Overview

4

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is it is affordable for me and cheaper than any other private college and also best placement opportunities are there. The curriculum helps me to build my confidence in public speaking and made me to speak english fluenlty By removing daily practice problem of languages like codetantra and neocolab it will waste lot of time isntead of this daily practice test they have to take in classes. The frequency and timing of exams are okay but sometimes many out of syllabus questions are there in exams but scrutiny is there.

Internships Opportunities

3

There are not much intership opportunities you have to find it by yourself you can get it through linked anc other platform but u have to verify that intership by the college before you join.the roles are network marketing or call centers or sales opportunities are there. Project depends on our course wht if have choose if u r btech student u have to make websites or any app or extensions.

Placement Experience

3

Campus plaement is much as comapred to other private institutes as it got naac grade A++ to.from 6 th sem students are eligible for placement. Companies that are visiting in our canpus are ibm, infosis, capgemini, simplegames and the offer they made in between 5 to 12 lakh. Depend upon student knowledge Highest package is of 30 lakhs and average is of 5 lakh per annum. 94% they clamied during the time of addmission but in my knowledge 60%. I want to get placed after the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees i am paying is 154400 including my scholarship of 45000 per semester. The original tution fees is 120000 per sem but after scholarship i got per semester 74400 and hidden charge of exam fees of rs 4000 is the examination fees per sem so per sem i have to pay 78400. The max scholarship you will get through lpunest is 48%. Now the fees for btech is increased by 20000 now per sem fees is 140000. As i have a fresher friend so i asked him about his fees how much he paid to get this course. The hostel fees is 10000 for standard room 4 seater. Every year hostel fees increase by 10000. And mess fees is 42000 for 4 time meal.you can get scholarship through jee mains exams if you havegood percentile more than 90%.i have one friend pf other course: btech biotech his per sem fees is 60000. Apartment charges are more than hostel charges.lpu provide facilities inside campus like hospital facility 24/7 ambulance service free checkups you have to pay only for medicine no checkup charges.

Admission

The other college i had chosen over this was upes dehradun.but i had cleared the lpunest exam scholarship test.i had choose lpu over upes because the course fees had much difference in it upes fees is very high as compared to lpu lpu is affordable for me at that time. No i did not got rejected by other college i applied.the fees was very high at that time.i was unable to pay that amount of money on that time. Through lpunest you can apply for my college.you need 60% marks total include english science and maths.you can get more scholarship through jee mains and you can take direct admission too.

Faculty

4

The fauclty to student ration is 20:80. The faculty to students relationship is nice they are very helpful and friendly nature is there with students.you can message them on lpu live and ask any doubt if u have.

Interview Experience

4

I did not attend any group discussion yet it may be on 6 th sem but i know the topics are offline vs offline classes or job . Global crisis and many more they arw the topics. You can directly mail to the college if u dont want to give lpu nest exam direct admission is there you have to pay the fees only on time. You can prepare these rounds through placements drive

But outside the campus there are many cases of fighting murders and suicides too so i lrefer to be inside the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students start becoming eligible for campus placements from the sixth semester, and that’s when most training sessions for aptitude, coding and soft skills also begin. The placement cell is active throughout the year and brings in a mix of product-based, service-based and mid-tier tech companies. The number of offers varies every year, but CSE-related branches usually get the highest share of opportunities. Companies come for roles like software trainee, analyst, QA, support engineering and web development, so there’s a good spread of entry-level roles.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

The placement of our college is good but its lack to bring big names but overall it's 3 out of 5 as it's basically focus on bringing software companies but our stream is of electronics so we donot have that much knowledge about coding so we lack to get placed this is the only disadvantage of the placement cell here

In 3rd semester a student is eligible for campus placement but it is all upto to students that they have to maintain a good cgpa and skills for interviews. In Chitkara university a good number of companies visited like Microsoft, google and they provide 100+ offerletters. 85-90 % students get placed in Chitkara university. After getting degree I firstly join to the company .

There is an option for students to opt for placements from campus in our university and if we seect that option we are given special training by the university it self in fields which we think we are weak. That include technical and non technical fields like soft skills. University also ties up with other triaining companis to train us in better way by calling tutors from outside the campus for teaching us. Over all if we consider we are already well trained by university to sit for on campus placements and we usually get a good paying job which also helps us to gain more knowledge and improve ourself.
