Course Curriculum Overview

4

As a literature and history student our syllabus is not of relevant issues . The timing to complete the syllabus and the sem exam timing are balanced. Even though they're many new technologies many faculties didn't use those to conduct classes

Internships Opportunities

3

The college recently started giving internships and placement. Many reputed companies are ready to hire our children just because of the quality of education they received from the campus. In my department already many students hasbeen placed in big companies

Fees and Financial Aid

We've already paid 8000 during admission expect that yearly we pay exam fees which was approximately 1000 and a sem fee of approximately 2000 and in addition there will be a association fee which was approximately 300

Campus Life

4

Many cultural programmes had been happening continuously. Mainly department wise programs . Fozlava is farook colleges biggest fest happening continuously for one week . In addiction many fest like annual day , union inaugration, steps and vibes club inaugrations There is two active units of nss , two active units of NCC army boys , one active unit of NCC army girls and an active unit of NCC navy . In the college . The farook college palliative wing is the most important among them , they're operating a free dialysis centre for the people

Admission

I have only applied to two colleges , one of Calicut University, farook college autonomous and another one govt Brennan college ,thalasherry . The reason why I chose farook college is firstly it is an autonomous college and it's near my home and also I got merit seat in the college

Faculty

5

The autonomous colleges could conduct exams , syllabus for they're own . Exams conducted in sem . For me it is 6 sems . Syllabus is moderate in the level of degree students. All the faculties are student friendly and of highly qualified

Night Life

3

I personally didn't experience the night life of the college but still it will be amazing. College had a neat and clean cafeteria , the food they serve was tasty and hygienic. The abussabhaha library complex is one of the biggest library and oldest library complex in south india. To hanging out with friends there are punchiri valav, manchood , nalukett, Ooty road , cemetery and couples corner

Exams are held each semester and are moderately difficult beacuse of this, so practical training and teaching methods need improvement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as because I like English Literature. The student ratio that my class own is about 48 students in total. Majority of the teachers who are posted there are those who have qualified with NET (NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST). The current HOD is one of the retired Assistant Professor from one of the renowned college around Kozhikode town. Internal exam were timely, but coming to University exams it was so restless. But as if now, it is getting into the track again by conducting exams on time.
