Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate good to the course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. It was quite reletable to the corporate world and help us to grow. Also provide good exposure in different parameters.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Placement Experience

Placement was good there. Tie up with companies are good and companies visit the campus in a good number with good package. Also the placement process is to smooth and I got placed in sixth semester too.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 70000 per semester and 140000 per year, I have done Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. There were few scholarships but I was not eligible for that. There was also few departments other from engineering like medical and hospitality there.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is quite good with good cleanliness and green environment all over the campus. Campus is well decorated and well maintained with good sports facility and co-curricular activities. Grounds are good there.

Admission

I choose this college as I found it good in terms of placement. It provide a good percentage of placements and that's what is important. Admission process there is smooth and have to visit Chandigarh office for it.

Faculty

Faculty members are good there and also very helpful. Course and study are according to the recent market that help us to grow well and be prepared for the real working world. Overall experience was good.

Night Life

Nightlife in the campus was good. Hostel was also good but the food there is average. There are kind of cafeterias and different mess there providing food to the students. You can get a mountain view from the campus.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

I applied for BML Munjal University before Chitkara university, Baddi. I got a confirmed admission from many colleges like BML munjal university, GNA university, Chandigarh university, etc. I chose this college over other because it was not too costly and crowd is less compared to other private universities. I was not rejected by any colleges which i applied. For admission you have to fill registration form after that you have to attend the councelling.
