Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course has been designed by CCS but I have to say the design of course if not that good and its arbitrary in many aspects. Our college professors to make changes to it every now and then to make it more comprehensive for all. There is a major scope of improvement from university. Exams are conducted during Summers mostly may-july and winters, usually between December to January. Exams are not hard but the checking is strict thus getting 60% is no worse than 85-90% in any other law College.

Internships Opportunities

3

Throughout the year, internship cell will share internship opportunities across the board from supreme court judges to famous advocates. To put it simply, it is dependent on your capabilities and not on college as college is just sharing the forms for internships available everywhere instead of providing them.

Placement Experience

3

9th and 10th semester is the most busy time as most students get placed during this time and many firms come during that time. Highest package went upto 20lpa and Average is around 6lpa for students getting selected in placements. Around 10-20% get selected from college as most opt for independent practice or get placed before the college drive. I plan to pursue masters from abroad in policy making.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for an academic year is 2,35,000 and everything else is included into that and no hidden fees. Registration fees for the forms change on yearly basis but the amount at the time of admission is 50k that is adjusted into the academic fee. But the registration fee doesn't get adjusted. There are scholarship based on reservation, CLAT, AILET, LSAT and even boards marks with max 50% scholarship.

Campus Life

2

Catalyst is the annual fest for students and it is held between February and March. Library is good and if there is any book that is not available, you can request for it and they usually make it available. Classrooms are equipped with projectors for teachers. We have a sport fest every year during April may and there are sports ground available for most sports.

Admission

I didn't apply to many colleges as I was late in registration by the time my Clat and AILET marks cake. But I talked in UPES and Nirma university and got confirmation over my easy admission there. There was a issue over percentage of scholarship so I chose Lloyd. I didn't get rejection from any colleges when I applied to them. Admission is through Lloyds own aptitude test and also through marks in Clat, AILET, LSAT and boards. Direct admission to students with exceptional marks are given but rest have to go through interview and aptitude test before getting selected.

Faculty

4

Total no of students in each batch every year is around 300-320. This is divided into 5-6 sections with total of 10 teachers for 5 subjects and each subject has 2 assistant professors. They take charge of 3 sections each. So, total of 5 teachers for 150 teachers. I wouldn't name them but a lot of faculties are very good and keeps you engaged. You will get Atleast one in every semester. Some of them are opposite too but every semester the roster changes so no proff teaches for a complete academic year and thus, even if there is a proff you don't like, they will get replaced every semester. This is not a deemed university so Chaudhary Charan Singh University conducts one exam each semester. There are 2 college internals to help you prepare for these exams.

Night Life

2

Around college campus there are a few cafes not much, you will have to go to a different area for that. Hostel timings is from morning to 9-10 pm for night. Due to a bit isolation in terms of area, there aren't much things around it. It is generally safe to travel through cabs or autos

Placement Experience:

Placements for Law are not comparable to the tech courses so far at GLA. Every year combining BBA LLB and BA LLB around 300 and I don't think even 100 are placed. So, GLA University will have to find a way to get atleast half the students find placements here and because I know my chances of getting placements are slim, I will be opting for doing LLM after I am done with LLB in 2027.

The college provide students with PDF lectures which focuses on personality development which includes confidence building, speaking and listening skills, etc. They also give tips for a better resume and how to give interview and prepare us for interviews by organising mock interviews. 5th year students are the focused students for the campus placement. Some students choose to be an advocate and others may prepare for higher studies and or prepare for judiciary and other civil services examinations. I personal preference to go for the one field which can open my ways for other field stoo.

Placements currently as I am in my final year and couldn't find placements through the firm's which came here for placements. Therefore I had to find it on my own just like half of our batch has to as less than half were placed. LLM is also going on in my mind but that is only if I am able to get in top colleges or will continue to serve as a lawyer.
