My experience at DTU

Exams are tough but if you give 1 week in advance for mid sems and 2 weeks for end sem than it will be easy for you to score high. Apart from this faculties provide notes and study material which helps the students.

Not many companies visit DTU for the internship. But major companies do like google, microsoft, uber , atlassian, amazon. With more than 100000/ stipend per month. Majorly companies visit for SDE roles for the internship.

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

Fee varies year to year. For me in first year it was 210K and evry year they add 10K. Apart from this they provide many scholarships scheme for economically weaker students. They also provide some merit based reward for high rankers. Many government scholarship are also available.

Theirs are lot of clubs and societies. You can join nay of them if you want. This give you to build a network between others. The largest fest which held in DTU is Engifest in feb. DTU have a central library which have all the course related books.

I choose DTU because of its reputation, it's alumini network and ofcourse good placements. I got admitted through Jee mains examination. DTU is chill towards attandance. I choose DTU over NSUT because of it's great alumini network.

Faculties are good. They complete there course on time. No stress to students. Less assignments are given. They solve the problem faced by students. And we have two exams one at the mid of the sem and another at the end.

No , their is no such interview process or gd. I got admitted through Jee mains. Which was held twice in my time. Geeting admission in dtu is not that easy you have to work hard to get good marks in jee mains.

New outlet of Domino's have opened at the DTU. Which is actually nice. A main canteen is their where you can do your lunch. Hostel timings are 11 for boys and I guess 10 for girls. And for the outsider it's 11 pm.
