Course Curriculum Overview

5

My course is mechanical engineering. It contains structural analysis and kinematics, dynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamic, etc . The course curriculum is perfect and is a good fit for a mechanical engineer.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is a government scholarship provided for students with rank bellow 10 thousand in the entrance examination (TS EAMCET). The actual fee for a regular B tech course in branches like CSE, ME, CE, ECE, EEE is 50,000 Rs/-. Caution fee is about 10,000. There are no lab fees and other charges that are needed to pay. If opted for a hostel there will be a mess charge applied on the student's ID that has to be paid monthly. Students can also apply for NSP Scholarship if their intermediate grades are high

Campus Life

5

As said earlier the college is across 160 acers. The place is pleasant. It is near a small village Sultanpur. People here are a bit illiterate. The college students educate them. There are also student club like photography, literature, technical, Social and sports clubs. Infrastructure is great

Hostel Facilities

5

There a separate blocks for each year students. Each block consists of 4 floors. Each floor has about 30 rooms. The room accomodation is 2 members. There are total of 6 blocks for hostel and 3 mess halls for boys. 4 hostel blocks and 2 mess blocks for girls.

Admission

Actually I have applied to JNTUH Hyderabad branch as it is a government college and it is inside the city Hyderabad. But in college alotmemt list i was not given the admission due to my rank. So i jave applied to this college as a second option. But even this college is good even though it is out of the city.little development is to be done but overall its a great college.

Faculty

5

The faculty in thus college are all experienced and very talented. All of the professors are certified with Dr. and PHDs. The professor to student ratio is 1: 30. But the problem is no availability of time along with a huge syllabus. Exams are conducted within the campus. There will be 2 mid terms, lab internsl & external , sem final for a semester. The course is of 4 years that is 8 semesters

Night Life

3

There is a gym provided by the college but the equipment are not so usefull. They were damaged by our passed out seniors. No late night activities allowed in college. College is very strict. Its for the better good of the students. But still some students tend yo do few things.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am very Passionate about Computer Science. So I joined Information Technology which is the same as CSE. Information technology mostly offers the same opportunities as CSE in VNRVJIET. So, I preferred IT in VNRVJIET. In VNRVJIET, Hyderabad faculty: student ratio is approx 1:40 which is considered as Average ratio. Most of the Faculty are PHD Graduates but there are less number of Professors. Mostly there are Assistant Professors whose Teaching Methodology is average to Good but not rated as Better in terms of Teaching. Professors are good at Teaching but Some Assistant Professors are not as good as we expected. There are mostly newly joined PHD faculty members were there who will teach in a slow manner. Every 5-6 months we have Semester Exams which are mostly easy to pass if we have somewhat knowledge of the subject.
