Remarks

Great Location and view , Bandstand !! The academics of the college is good and managed well. All the faculty's are supportive and helpful . The canteen could have been better , there is no seating facilities for having lunch near the canteen .

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum seems to be outdated. The university should upgrade the curriculum and bring in new concepts into syllabus which would be more relevant to study. The exam structure is divided into teamwork and separate written exam. Merit is given in GPA after evaluating overall performance.

Placement Experience

The placements are management by the placement cell of the college. Various companies come every year for recruitment . Placements are quite good and most of the eligible students get placed. The average placement is about 4 LPA ,while the highest package goes upto 16 LPA. Our college also conducts INTERNSHIP EXPO ,where various companies and startups hire interns for Summer Internships. Stipend varies from company to company ,rough estimate around 2000-10,000 Rs . per month.

Our college has 2 main fest's : 1. Euphoria : - Cultural Fest Includes Dances , singing , games and various Activities in college. Cultural Trophy of the year is also given during Euphoria 2. Crescendo : Technical Fest Includes technical and coding competitions .

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee Structure is moderate . About 1,50,000 per Year . The facilities provided in the college are good and up to the mark. The fees are not too high ,but could be reduced. Approximately 6 Lakhs for 4 year BE Graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various Scholarships are provided for students : Minority Scholarship for all the eligible students , Amount : 25,000-50,000 Per year. EBC scholarships are also provided for students with family income less than 6 LPA.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities in our college include : Football , Volleyball etc. The sports facilities are not very great ,but decent enough . There is no separate volleyball Court. All the sports are played on the same ground. Improvements should be made and more sports and extras curricular facilities should be made available to students.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni of our college is really Good . Alumni network is strong and many have reached great heights in Corporates and Startups . One of them to be mentioned is : GAURAV SEN : YouTuber (works in DIRECTI)

Faculty

The faculty's are good and supportive. Students can approach them anytime for doubts. Regular lectures and practicals are conducted and syllabus is completed on time. All faculty's and Approachable and very helpful .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

The moderate college of engineering in pune , with moderate fees and good environment.

Placement Experience:

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. College do offers insdustry obesrvation and siteseeing tours. These activities are for core branch students. the companies visited in college are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS, for IT sector and core branches companies like BOSCH, ULTRATECH CEMENT, TATA TECHNOLOGIES , do visit for campus recruitment. The highest package was placed by a student of 45 lakhs in 2022 and another student of 22 lakhs. the percentage of placement for 2024 batch was about 70% to 72% for overall placement record. after getting degree i will persue the job in pune and stay updated on ladakh civil job vacancies.

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

1. i also applied to KJ Somaiya in vidyavihar and RAIT in navi mumbai and VIT vellore. i did not choose these colleges for the following reason: expensive fees and no affiliation with mumbai university, expensive and not well regarded, large batches in each class so issues in placements, 2. i did not get rejections from any college i applied to. 3. admission to my college can be done through CAP rounds or institute rounds. the eligibility depends on your mh-cet score. only mh-cet is accpeted and jee. but only mh-cet is given importance. there is also a 51% quota for chrisitian minority students...Read More

I was getting VJTI Mech and Civil but i wanted CSE or IT branch. I also got IT in DJ Sangvi and SPIT cllg but as i stay in Mulund-Thane area it is very far from me and travelling alone took 4 hrs of the day. After all these odds this cllg was best for me as it takes only 1.5 hrs of daily travel for me. Time is money u will realize this during ur engg. Cllg only accepts CET and JEE MAINS scores. If u want to get a CS branch in this cllg ur CET score must be around 96.8%ile or around 7000 rank in cet and in JEE MAINS ur percentile must be above 94%ile or 95%ile...Read More

You can get in fr crce either through jee or mht-cet. But you need to have Maharashtra state domicile if you are looking forward to take admission via mht cet. As the college is Christian minority college 51% of seats are reserved for Christian students. The cutoff vary with branch.
