Is Newton school of technology Btech Cs/AI really worth it in Rishihood university? My experience at this college.

As i mentioned earlier the course is one of the best out there in terms of quality. They teach us all the releant and best things needed for job and internship. Allthough they should've removed that foundation program in which they make us study social science. The exams are also really frequently occuring , every week there is a contest to check our knowledge gained in the week.

The college provide us some really good internship opportunities. They have some really good connections in the industry itself to place us there, they keep organising some guest lectures for these internships, they keep us updated on this topic and other hackathons being organised. I myself got 3 internships of which one was paid in just 3 months of my college.

As this college is a bit new in the industry they don't have a official placement record for Btech , but seeing the internship opportunities we are getting here , i believe that they will actually give us really good placements in the industry.

The yearly fee of this college on total including the hostel and mess and course fee is around 5 lakh 70 thousand rupees which is considerabaly high for middle class families. However this college do provide a lot of scholarship opportunities and as this is a non profit organisation , all of the profit goes for the students in the form of scholarship. Almost every student here has some scholarship ranging from 5% to 100%. The scholarship is given on the basis of academic performance , sports and other extra curricular achievements. Also the fee is rasied by 1 lakh from last year , but i do believe they won't follow this trend again.

The campus life is really really good , i won't say the best , but good enough to make your 4 years of college memorable, there are currently two major fests occuring names Damru the cultural fest and Newtron the tech fest. Also there is no time limit for hostels. for students in the campus which is really good for students as the campus is 24x7 open.

The hostels here are really great in terms of facilities , in bathroom you get 24x7 running hot water , there are room keepers who come everyday to clean your room, 24x7 air conditioners are there in the hostels which are really helpfull in the summers of Delhi.

Allthough if anyone got IIT or NIT , obviously they are going to go there , but as i am here , i obviously don't got any of these, but from other private colleges i came here because of the curriculum and the quality infrastructure they provide.

The faculty members here are really great , they are ready to give there whole day to make the students clear about the concepts. They are skilled and ex-industry men which is really great as they provide us the best and relevant knowledge. As for the exams, there are weekly contests and regular per day assignments and quizes which are given to us on the portal they provide us.

Yes , they do take a written test called NSAT and then you are called for a personal interview which tests your interest in the field of computer science, after that a final group discussion is takento check your participation in social events.
