Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum was old and redundant and completely not upto industry standards. We will have to learn coding and development ourselves. We may get courses around it but it is theoretical which may not help you to learn these aspects.
Placement Experience
In 5 th semester we eill be eligible for on campus internships and in 7th semester for Oncampus placements. We can apply for any off campus opportunities in the first year itself and some interns also visit our college for 2nd yr students for girls only.
Fees and Financial Aid
I was a day scholar so the starting fees for 2020 batch was 187000 and it was increased every year by 10-15000 . There was no benefit or fee remission for category students but they can avail their respective schemes under government.
Campus Life
Moksha and Resonance are one of the best cultural and technical fests you can visit in India right now with various types of events from our societies with footfall of over 1 lakh + . There are many conferences and seminars on various domains and topics that happen too.
Admission
I applied for IIIT- and DTU but I chose NSUT for its vicinity to my house and its alumni structure. I gave JEE mains and applied for JAC counselling and got a seat in all the 3 colleges and it was upto my preference. So, i chose NSUT
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio was 50:1 in CS department butthe faculty was easily approachable with any doubts whether its exam related or research related . There were NPTEL courses which have to be opted and regular exams which were tougher to score.
