The Good Chilled out atmosphere,good girl to guy ratio,huge campus,well equipped labs,qualified teachers. The Bad Far away from the city,high fees,unimpressive placements.
Entrance Preview
I took IIT JEE (Mains)72, MHTCET 101. I always wanted to opt for Pillais because of its annual festival Alegria the festival of Joy. Admission process was managed very well and was not a headache as in other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
Nopes my college doesn't provide internship.
Placement Experience
Many companies like Tata Consultancy Solutions,Accenture,L&T,Siemens,Godrej and a long list to go. visit college every year for campus placement. Though the placements aren't impressive,they have improved a lot in the last few years.
College Events
Many cultural events take place in the campus. Alegria is the baap of all festivals that take place in the college campus. Students from all over Mumbai come to attend this festival.

No dicrimination done in this college. Many workshops are held for every engineering department. MESA, AESA,ISHRAE, etc.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni is good. Seniors are very friendly.
Faculty
The infrastruction of Pillais is a plus point. Huge campus faculty of Mechanical Department is one of the best in Navi Mumbai. Teachers are friendly and approachable though some teachers are strict.
