Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very relevant in current times and the curriculum of this university has made it easier for me to choose this course because it contains all the things I wanted to learn like ui/ux design, editing softwares, film making, design related things like illustration techniques, elements and principle of design. The course and curriculum prepares us for the real world because it puts us under pressure and gives us the exact scenario of how it would be in the real world. The exams happen after every two months and are comparatively easy.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are compulsorily provided at the end of every even semester and is a great opportunity provided by the university to hone our skills in the real world. The internships mostly don't have any stipend but some do. The internships are related to our course only and helps us in our course.
Placement Experience
Campus placements is a subject which has very varied answers depending on who we ask. There are placement rounds going on in the university and people do get placed but it is seldom. We are not given a good idea of how many companies visit or what is the average package offered. But the placement rounds begin from 4th year only. We get compulsory internships after the end of every even semester.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is ?1,13,000 including tuition, activity fees, library but excluding transportation and hostel accomodation. The fees at the time of admission was ?1,36,000 which included: Admission fees: 60,000 Registration Fees: 10,000 Caution money: 10,000 Tuition fees: 28,500 Laboratory fees: 5,750 Development fees: 10,000 Library fees: 5,000 Activity fees: 5,000 Examination fees: 2,500 The fees do not increase over the duration of the course. Scholarships are available based on merit and need.
Campus Life
The university has a lot of opportunities for someone who wants to get involved. It is very active socially and the some of the clubs have many opportunities and exposure. I myself am in the media club and it is regularly active with events happening daily. The infrastructure is first class with libraries, OPD facilities, salon, lounge, food stalls and food court at every block, 2 big auditoriums, etc. sports and co-curricular activities happen daily with football and basketball games happening all day long. There are Rotaract Club, Rangmanch Club, Confluence club which are student run social clubs.
Admission
I mostly didn't apply to other colleges but I applied to alliance university in Bangalore and symbiosis institute in Pune. I got confirmed admission from both of these universities but I couldn't take the admission there as the fees was quite high and it was far away from my hometown. Hence I picked Royal Global University because it is near my home and the fees is quite affordable too. The admission process is quite simple for our university. We only need to score 55% above in 12th standard and no other exams are needed for this course or university.
Faculty
The faculty members are quite friendly and approachable and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help us with university stuff and life values. The faculty to student ratio is around 1:10. There are 4 exams each year and 2 each semester. One is mid semester and another is end semester. Numerous other assignments are given in between the exams.
