The course is designed in a way which help a student to develop as a designer and incorporate all the skills and thought process which is needed by one to get into the industry but some aspects we need to understand that efforts need to be put in any case to work on personal growth.

It's around 1.6 lakh (one lakh 60 thousand) per semester and is inclusice of the hostel and mess fee. The tutuion fee increases by the higher semesters. The fee is to be paid in the beginning of the semester mandatoryly.

The campus life is very nice in terms of the space and infrastructure because it brings you close to the nature, a narure lover gets the best life and all kind of celebrations are planned but a big hassle is to get permissions for them from the admin

A hostel room gives one person a bed with a bed box, a study table, a chair, a cupboard and a nice balcony to thr room with other facilities like washing machine, water cooler, fridge available. But yhr food was really bad for which a protest was done and is little better now and the cafeteria has barely some food and is expensive

National Institute of Design prepares you for the future of design while keeping the understanding of the basics of the thought process of the design philosophy and work on a very practical basis.

They faculty to students ratio is 1:25 and some faculties and very easily approachble and other arent. Some are well understanding and and some are not. There aren't any exams, it's jury that happens after every semester where you display and talk about all your work done throughout the semester

The campus closes its entry at 8:00 pm and hostels at around 10:30 pm and the students are not allowed to go out of the campus post this because jorhat itself closes very early because the north east has early sunset, and everyones lifestyle is according to that time, and it's not very safe to go out after this time in any case
