A fresher perspective of OUTR Bhubaneswar (formerly known as CET Bhubaneswar)

I chose civil engineering because that's what the ojee counselling alloted me sorry to say but it was just by chance not by choice but still the branch itself is too good. And talking about the course curriculum I don't have much idea as I'm a fresher too

As I'm a fresher student so I don't have much idea about the internship opportunities offered but I have talked with some of our seniors from them I got good reviews according to them the offers are nice and the stipend offered are also decent.

Sorry I don't have much idea about the eligibility for on campus placements but yes the companies visiting are too reputed like TCS,L&T and many more that too providing decent packages and specially for civil department it's a great opportunity for applying into government jobs

Ist semester fees which I paid was 36000+10000 (ojee COUNSELLING) And from the 2nd sem onwards the fees varies from around 30000 to 35000 OUTR Bhubaneswar (formerly known as CET) is one of the finest government engineering college in the state

Yes there are many number of fests being held throughout the year like we have Zarzuela, then Xtasy and many cultural fests and aslo many different tech events cultural events happening throughout the year. And yes OUTR has a wide range of clubs which you can join based on your interests

No I didn't apply for any other colleges, I was clear in my mind to take the college only on the basis of my jee performance and yes i followed it. Our college accepts admission only through OJEE COUNSELLING and if any seats are left then for those leftover seats a special spot counselling round is conducted by the college

Faculty to student ratio is kind of decent like there's not any shortage of faculties. Some faculty members are too strict regarding studies but yes the strictness mostly helps us in our day to day life, And yes there are faculties those are too friendly you won't feel like a student with them.
