College review of Sinhgad college of engineering Pune

I am studying electrics and telecommunications in this there are scope in future India semiconductor industry is growing,but in college curriculum very old syllabus is there and very less practical knowledge only theory of subjects is teaching which is not sufficient for today's compitition

From 6th semister you are eligible for campus placement, companies visited in campus are TCS, Infosys , nvidia pune, and other semiconductor related companies highest package of electronic and telecommunications department is around 18 lakh and average package is around 4 lakh number of students placed in previous year is around 70 to 90, I am planning for higher studies after getting degree

Fees structure for open student is around 135000 ,fees structure for OBC ews is around 80000, fees structure for sc st students is 8000 and this fees decrease year by year and also EBC , Panjabrao deshmukh hostel scholarship is available for this fees is around 80000, fees for hostel is around 75000, after college fees exam fees need to pay which is 1000 per exam.

First of all there is unofficial freshers party in September month , Sinhgad carnival is also there is September month ,in February there is Sinhgad karandak other all festivals in campus is good all festivals are celebrated like Ganesh chaturthi , janmastami and other , all books are available in college library , in classroom there are projector no degital board, sports oppertunity are there but very much compition is there and also extracurricular is also good there is advantages of extracurricular in Sinhgad, there are many clubs are there like robotics club , students welfare club, and other 100 of clubs are there of every department

In hostel room there are one bed, fan , separate toilet and bathroom for every room 3 students in one room , separate rack table and chair for each student overall hostel staying experience is good but food quality of hostel mess is very bad, hostel is affordable as compared to pg in outside the campus for hostel there are security of 24 hours, hostel registration process is very easy

I chose this college because I will get less percentage in mht cet otherwise I preferred vit ,pict,pcceo over this college because this colleges are autonomous and less pressure of exam and more practical based teaching is there .for addmission process you need to fill cap round form if you get this college confirm and go to the college for addmission, cut off for entc is around 85% and for cs and IT it is 92+ for mechanical it's around 20 for last round overall addmission process is good

I am from electronics and telecommunication department faculty to students ratio in my department is around 20:1, faculty in my department is very good as compared to other departments and also have very strict, all entc department faculty is very good and experience, there are total 4 exam in 1 semister 2 University exam which are in sem examination and end sem examination and 2 unit test taken by college exam syllabus is very worst for entc department it is very deficult to understand , but for exam point of you it is easy 60% paper is repeated from previous year questions for passing exam is slitely easy
