What Students Say

Likes

The camus is good like not perfect but yes it is good .
The faculty are awesome , the way they teach is perfect , beutiful collage campus.
I believe the hostels are well made and are well cleaned twice a day .

Dislikes

Electricity cuts are too often but they are for shorter period like 10 minutes
Mess food , i will say is not good but not that bad, but everyday you will get daal .
No electric things like induction , kettle, iron , heater are not allowed and they are a bit too strict about these things.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT BHOPAL being the new institute still offers well structured labs and is best for EEE , CSE , CSE AIML, etc. The institute helps us to experience everything which will help us to survive in the future world. They should include smart projectors instead of old ones as smart ones can help us understand even more

Class Size: 2200Course Fees: INR 198000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

It is my first year so i cannot say anything about fee increment but the education charges are 198000 plus 3000 caution money per year . And i also believe after taking to 2nd year senior that thee fee structure was same the previous year as well . Then hostel and mess charges are like 1,66,00 to 1,94,000.

Campus Life

We have many kinds of clubs and events mainly two which are AADVITYA and AARAMBH One happens in summer and other in winter like in november. The collage has two libraries with almost every novels adn books you want but you have to be quick to get to issue the book Games activities are less due to bad grounds for practice Yes students from second year can make their own clubs

Admission

Being jee aspirant i applied for jee mains , Bits , Viteee only and in all three i qualified but in jee i didnt got the branch i wanted and in bitsat i got 280 marks which were less to get cse there so then i gave viteee in which i got cse and we know vit is a brand name now so it will be good and then i choose this college

Faculty

As said previously the faculty are all with doctrate degree even our proctors , the way they teach is fabulous. Now about the course structure, we have to get a minimum of 150 credits to get our degree and this can be acheived in 3 and 3.5 yrs because of FFCS System of VIT Bhopal , every semester we will have 2 exams midterm and Term end exam in which we have to score 40% marks in each to move to new semester , now the grading system is good because our competition is only from class students but not with the college. The best teacher in computational chemistry is Dr. SAURAV PRASAD .

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Whether you should join VIT bhopal or not

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
