Course Curriculum Overview
Placement history is very good compared to other colleges and NITs. It is equal yo some of the IITs in India. Curriculum prepares us well for the real world applications which is essential in engineering.
Internships Opportunities
We are to do a project under our professors in our college, we can also do internship outside the campus in 2nd year summer vacation or 3rd year summer vacation. Necessary permission will be given by the management.
Placement Experience
Placements in NITW are around 85%. Highest package is 88 lakhs per annum and average package is around 15 lakhs per annum. Number of companies visiting our college for internships and Placements are around 250.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly tuition fee for general category people is 125000. The fee is waviered according to categories. For SC, ST students the tuition fee is zero. Merit scholarship is provided based on highest score in the class
Campus Life
We have to biggest fests of south India being celebrated in our college namely technozion in december and spring spree in march. Technozion is about tech and spring spree is about culture and is celebrated grandly.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rent is very much affordable around 15000 per semester. Mess fee comes to 12000 per semester. Meal quality is below average, and covers all types food north Indian and south Indian. Hostels are inside the campus only
Admission
I entered this college via JEE MAINS entrance test and opted this college as it has eco friendly nature. Cut off for the SC, ST is low compared to other categories. So, I was able to make it to this college.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 1:20. Faculty is very friendly and clear our doubts wherever possible. High standards of teaching and explanation. Exams are based on continuous evaluation and relative grading.
