Likes

The environment here is very nice. Throughout the year something or the other is going on in the campus, like fests and events. The students here are very nice and seniors are helpful. The provide notes and pyqs on WhatsApp groups.
Infrastructure is nice, and facilities are ample for anyone who hold potential to utilise.
The campus is very inclusive. Whatever you need will be available inside the campus, so the hostel students rarely need to go out.

Dislikes

The faculty is not very nice to say the least
Sometimes the authority tries to strongarm you on your attendance.
Very strict standards for attendance, they are very particular about time. There is a face scan machine at all gates which registers your time of entry and exit.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech( CSE) is their most popular course, and they promise 100% placement. In the first year amity has total 9 subjects for core branch. They can reduce this to 6 or 7. This way students can focus on the important stuff and devote more time towards ut

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 109000 per semester. There was a security deposit of 20000 which is refundable. I got a scholarship of 50% for the first year so I don't have to pay fees of second semester. It was on the basis of jee percentile. I got 90.01 percentile in jee mains.

Campus Life

Amity is very good for students who like to socialize. You can see every type of student there. They conduct many fests and events every now and then. They also have a society called sangathan which hosts sports events. The Library is very big and has almost any book one can think of.

Admission

I applied for UPES, NIIT, BITS, VIT and a few more, I got a seat in vit but the fees there was very high as compared to amity. Afterall all the private colleges offer similar facilities, it's about the students capabilities at last. So I decided to go for amity only.

Faculty

The faculty at amity is nice. They have appointed well qualified teachers. I don't want to comment on individual teachers As of now I have only appeared for a mid sem paper which was of 20 or 30 marks duration was 1 hour.

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .

Amity is a Universe not University.

I applied to other colleges also but i choose amity because Amity really gives you the knowledge. It makes you a overall complete person. It makes you forward in life, teaches you how to gain confidence which i didnt had before coming to Amity. The admission process was quite easy i got admission through my CUET Score. In admission portal it asks you general questions and takes few of your informations and previous scores of 12th and 10th.
