Course Curriculum Overview
The thing I liked the most of the curriculum has to be the fact they focus from the basics and build your way up, even as a person with little to no cs background the way the professors teach from the basics made me understand and love the subjects more and more. The curriculum is both beginner friendly and challenging treating us to real world problems in simulation like scenarios and the exam timings are forgiving and very reasonable.
Internships Opportunities
I personally haven't applied for many internships tho the University has provided over 4 interns overall in just my 4 months of joining , the internships offer real world problems solving skills along with development on a professional level.
Placement Experience
As of my knowledge through my seniors and friends the placement in jain is very decent compared to other universities with average packages having 6-10lks and highest being 48lks I would say it is an amazing place to get a job placement from as many Titans of the industry also had opted jobs from jain universitiy. My plans after the degree would definitely be to apply for a job or internship before going into do my masters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The yearly fees is 215000 for bca with data analytics, there's a lot of internships and other such events, I joined through international qota and there was no extra admission fee or such, there is a 1500 rs fee for final exams. There's many scholarships and other merit based aid provided by Indian embassy
Campus Life
The social and overall experience of the campus has to be one of its strong points the University provides many clubs and forums along with ample events to join ranging from arts till commerce teaching many life skills along with giving many opportunities to express ones self. It hosts many sporting events aswell with many technical clubs and journalist/ book clubs. The infrastructure also provides ample grounds and libraries with many computer labs to compliment its infrastructure.
Hostel Facilities
The facilities in the room consist of a decent spaced room with an attached bathroom in each room , one cabinet, one desk, 2 beds, a bedside table, a mirror shelf and decent space for personal preference, the quality of meals is also very good as they provide a variety of dishes and ranging from south indian and North Indian food to international dishes. The registration process is very simple as you only have to callin and pay for the room as for the affordability it's a bit on the higher side tho they do provide busses for transport and all. The hostel is located in BTM 1ST STAGE.
Admission
I chose jain as it was recommended by many of my family and friends along with its ample choices of specialisations across all the courses which attracted me a lot compared to other universities in my list. Also the freedom and location of the University is very good and forgiving.the admission process was as easy as filling a form with required documents and waiting for an offer call for interview.
Faculty
All the faculty members are very nice and friendly and understanding, the faculty to student ratio I'm unsure of but my personally prefered faculty has to be the CSIT department as the events hosted by them are very fun and engaging.Theres 2-3 exams each semester along with many internal assessments throughout the semesters the failing rate is very low and the relevance of the curriculum is valid to my preference.
