Remarks

I will take a neutral stand about this college as the college offers good but not the best ,overall progress in a persons life.studiying in the college feels simple.more events could be introduced and more notable persons could be invited for workshops

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is good.but not the best.the course does not offer much and there isnt much out of the box thinking skills reqired.the curriculum teaches only the basics.the first years will have theory exams.the remaining 2 years are mainly concentrated on practicals

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and jobs oppurtunities are there but not much frequent.the company visiting the campus frequently is infosys.karikku had recently held a placement search for assistant directors and cinematographers for their youtube channel

College Events

3.5

The events celebrated are also less frequent.only the main events are Conducted.so far i have only had just 3 or 4 small programs the entire year.freshers day and onam were spectular.kalostsavam was also good

Fee Structure And Facilities

I have to say that the fees structure is a bit expensive .and for me it clearly feels that the fee structure is so expensive compared to the overall features in the campus.the entire fee excluding hostel reaches upto 2.5 lakhs for 3 years

Fees and Financial Aid

There arent much scolarships provided by the college administratives.but harsh desicions are not taken against those who are lagging behind in fee submission.loan facilities are supported by the college and helps in taking a loan for the students

Campus Life

3.5

Labs are not the best.the computer labs do not have a frequent power supplies but the animation labs are more advanced.not much extra curricular activities are provided in the campus.sports isnt much supported.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel infrastructure and facilities are good but the food is a bit disappointing and the warden seems so strict when comparing it as a media college hostel.students are highly restricted in using mobiles and laptops even if they have works to do

Alumni/Alumna

Several alumnis visits the college either for events or prgrams.some senior students are top paid designers and software developers across india and foreign countries.several seniors are working as assistant directors and cinematographers in film industries

Faculty

3.5

Faculty of the college is good.they teach just what is in the curriculum.no out of the syllabus skills are exhibited by the teachers.rather being in a media college the classes feels like mainly relying on theories rather than practicals

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching, the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Economic somehow teaches us how to manage in real world.. I can connect a lot more to real world while learning economics. It is a little too difficult to learn for sem exams. The sem exam is just in 50/70 marks.. The exam timing is 1 1/2 or 2 hrs.

The college provided classes to enhance interview skills. The college also provided opportunities to prepare Resume, Curriculum Vitae and conducted mock interviews to enhance their confidence level. Most of the students got placed who attended the interviews. I am planning to go for higher studies. I am planning to pursue Masters in English Literature. I am hoping to get admitted to this college itself.
