Faculty in Mechanical Engineering department are supportive and talented.

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are modified to be more industry oriented and are industry aligned. Curriculum thoroughly covers essential concepts and concepts within the practice. Curriculum reflects current trends and demands in the job market.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees for first year was around 1,30,000. They have management quota, nri quota and government quota. A refundable deposit of 1,00,000 has to be paid during admission which shall be returned after completion of the course.

Campus Life

The college mainly conducts two fests each year. A Tech Fest as well as a Arts Fest. A number of clubs are available catering to everyone's interests. Clubs are active and usually conduct events every week or so. Some clubs may also conduct first year exclusive events which helps in socialising within the campus.

Admission

Admission is mainly obtained through KEAM entrance examination. Management seats require the student to pass in the KEAM exam in order to ensure admission. Government seats are allotted according to the KEAM Rank after the rank list is published

Faculty

Faculty of Mechanical Department are very friendly and approachable. They try their best to make sure portions are understood by everyone. I am not really sure about the exam system as my exams are yet to be attended.

from semister 6 students become eligible for campus placements and companies loke bank of america , google microsoft etc visited for campus placements and the highest package is about 54 lakhs where as average is 11 lakhs and about 98% of the students are placed

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Average student experience at amrita

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Placement Experience:

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

The college is in a prime location in the heart of kochi. It has easy access to all emergency services and to the town in general. It is a famous college known for its reputation and legacy. Rajagiri Engineering college where engineers are built

I did write the exam for SRM and VIT but then since I wanted to study in kerala I chose rajagiri school of engineering and technology. Also rajagiri is a well reputed college which produces excellent engineers with innovative ideas, I wanted to study and build my career here.
