Campus Chronicles: An in-depth college review.

The corr subjects sre really important for us. But the college doesn't provide us with many practical information. No doubt the theory classes are great and in abundance but the practicals which are actually needed are missing. With such a practice none of us are prepared to face real life challenges. The difficulty level of exams is moderate, if a student knows the concept of the topic then they can easily score well

The fees increases by 5% every semester. The fee is to be paid after every semester. Currently in my 5th semester it is 1,24,000. Everything is included in the fees only like the lab charges. Beside this there was a security amount of 5000 which was submitted during the admission and is supposed to be returned to us by the end of our degree The college does not provide any scholarship as such. There is a category for students who have lost their parents during COVID19, and honestly I'm not sure about that as well if they provide it or not.

Since 2022, only one fest has happened at my college. Talking about library, it really has a good collection of all the subjects, genres and every book, we can easily issue any book of our choice and it really has a good infrastructure as well. Talking about technological provisions in classroom, we are provided with projector in almost every classroom, some charging points. There were many clubs earlier but now almost each one of them is dissolved for no good reason and only one club for our department is left. And there is good sport opportunity for the students

I didn't apply for any other college. Biotechnology was my backup plan as I was a NEET aspirant. And as the dates passed away I was left with no other option then to pursue this course at this college. I didn't get any rejection from any other colleges as I never applied to any. The admission process for Amity at that was to register myself for the course, after that they conducted an interview of the student on the basis of which they selected or rejected the student.

We have one major exam which is also referred to as the external or end sem exam. Other than that we have internals which takes place in between the semester. Other than these there is no other exam, but we do have a lot of assignments, presentations etc. some of the facilities are really very nice and cooperative they are always ready to help out the students. But some are really always annoyed by the students and never ever help them. One of such faculty is the HOD of the Biotechnology department only. She never listens to the students' problems and always does whatever she wants to.
