Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum to whi hai jo mostly college me hota hai. But faculty try continuously for new update according to new education policy. Exams are held in September last then in November starting and then in January.

Internships Opportunities

4

My college provide internship in third year which non paid but some companies come and provide paid internship. For paid internship you have to clear all obstacles like aptitude round, group discussion and personal interview etc

Placement Experience

5

From seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement. In chemical engineering last year highest package was 12.5 lpa offering by Exxon Mobil. And average package is 8 lpa. In chemical engineering there is hundred percent placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

In the first year you will have to pay 135000 after seat acceptance during counseling. Then next year your fees reduced to 127500 this fees you can pay in two installments. First installment will be 90000 and rest amount will be paid in second installment. There is an opportunity for scholarship i.e up scholarship. Sc st candidates get up to one lac scholarship and obc and gen candidate get approx 56k which are hosteler they get 2k to 3k more.

Campus Life

4

Every year in even semester annual fest is organised. Technical fest , sport fest agaz, etc. student run many clubs like hobby subcouncil, gruv for face, octave for music, kalakash for art,. Technical club and callidus etc

Admission

I chosed this college because of many reasons. First reason is there alumni network and chemical engineering's best college. Second thing is that this college is located in my hometown. HBTU organised seperate counselling for admissions. Eligibility is jee mains qualified and 75 percent in board exam criteria. Other state students have more benifit to get this college

Faculty

4

To be very honest faculty to student ratio is too good. Students can freely approach to any faculty to share their problems or whatever they want to share. Most of the facilities are graduate or post graduate from IIT so their teaching approach obvious would be good but few of them are not teaching in most excited or innovative way. In one semester there is basically three exams first mid sem, second mid sem and one end semester exam. Mid semester exam are of 15 maximum marks and end semester exam 50 maximum marks. If any subject have practical or lab then that subject have only one mid sem. Exam bhut tough nhi hote hai .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

the uniqueness of my stream attracted me to pursue this course and the cirriculum followed here is very much relevant in industries and also in practical life. special focus on skills rather than just theory makes hbtu different from other colleges.Cirriculum is designed in such a way that no student can feel left out after 4 years when he goes or placement. Exams are taken regularly and in very good manner. proper time is given for preparing every subject and there is 24x7 help available from seniors and professors all previous year question papers are easily available on the college website along with that all subject handwritten and printed notes are also available.
