Likes

Academic discipline is quite good. There are good facilities for competitions.girls are more as compared to boys. Repeated webinars and seminars take place for student development.there is well furnished canteen with wifi facilities.
NCC is present in the university and students who wish to be a part of it can easily participate.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have a strong belief that when lawyers are not considered employees and we don't have to pay a normal Income tax why run after jobs. Hence, ICFAI Dehradun cousr propels us to be ready for litigation. Exams are happening almost every month and all are added in the final tally.

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 115000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements have gone high as the percentage which was below 50 in 2021 today stands tall at nearly 70%. Many firms that are niche in our space like the Tatva Legal's, Tri Legal's and others have hired students for their branches they are in almost every metro city.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees is 1,15,000 per year which do not increase. The actual fees is 1.30,000 but because I am from Dehradun and state students do get 15000 as scholarship. The security fees is 10000 and admission fees is 20000 and scholarships are provided according to merit and semester marks depending upon the highest CGPA in the batch.

Campus Life

Festivals are celebrated but not in terms of college events. Recently after students raised this issue, the university have given permission to students of law department to have their own departmental fest. Hence, we now have a departmental fest called Law Kriti and besides that we have a university annual event called UTSAV in which all departments of the university can participate.

Admission

I am from Dehradun and the university is just 2 miles from my place. Hence, there was no point for me to apply elsewhere as ICFAI University Dehradun is a noted name and when we have students from different cities and states of India why should I move elsewhere.

Faculty

Faculties according to me has to be given some special salute as even though most of them are 40+ and some even in 50s they behave like Genz's. Hence i have befriend many of our faculties and this has helped me or for that matter studnets to get their help as and when required.

Interview Experience

Law topics or the recent law cases that have made rounds were asked. Entrance score if it is surpassed the students are called for PI rounds and this is where the real fight or the quest for admission begins.

ICFAI Dehradun is quite amazing!!

Placement Experience:

Not just Uttarakhand session or high court law firms but even firms from Delhi and the ones that have pan India presence and are reputed are the ones which provides placements to ICFAI Dehradun students. Still a less number of people are placed from our campus as litigation has been the core of our academics.

My College Life

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college campus headed by Diwakar Das Sir. He is very responsible towards his work and ensures that the deserving students will get placed at good places . I'm not interested in corporate law so I won't be getting any placement form the college . I have other plans for my future .

law yet lovable life

Placement Experience:

right after the 4th year an average student gets on with their carrer path and college does have a placement cell which surely help students to place them but students must be attentive and follow the instuctions provided by them and have to stand out from other students as everone does not get chance to sit on a placement drive and the average company offers minimum 3LPA which most of the students take initially and leave soon. i plan for litigation though.

A transformative journey; my experience at ICFAI UNIVERSITY

Placement Experience:

The placement structure is not good for law department, it is really very good for MBA and other department but definetly not for law. it is not like they don't provide placement at all but instead if there are 150 students and 80 students have opted for placement then only 20 to 25 students get placement which maximum goes to 7lakh per annum.

ICFAI University Dehradun has a wow factor!!

Placement Experience:

Rules are constraint here as minimum criteria are in place as a CGPA of 8+ throughout. Also, the internships count and all are mandatory for eligibility of placements at ICFAI Dehradun. If one is under that then placements at top corporates like Bajaj Group or the Hero Moto Corp group among others are also certain.

after the 3rd semester student are eligible for placements. Companies like Google also came for their placement plans. The highest package i have ever seen in the college is 60 lakh by google to a girl and the average package is abot 8 lakh to 10 lakh every year nearly 80% students got the placement. I will be completing my MBA from the same college after taking the degree.
