Course Curriculum Overview

5

The curriculum is very interesting and I have been wanting to take this course since I was in 9th grade and I was so glad to see that this college had my course and so much more interesting courses. The extra activities and courses prepare us for real life situations and also helps us to get placements or pursue pg . The frequency of exams are perfect and are not rushed. The portions are completed on time.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internships are given in our College labs itself and it is a paid one which happens each year. Internships can also be done in leading pharmaceutical companies. Companies like biocon and Cipla and more provide placement to our college students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly the fees is 70,000 in my course, along with that we have to pay exam fee for each end sem exam which is about 2,800 including all papers. For admission I paid around 500. Science fees are a bit more because of laboratory fees as well. There are various scholarships given for ST/SC students, disabled students and students who are exceptional in studies. Every year internships are given with certificate which is optional. Extra courses are given to boost our CVs. Lots of competitions and clubs are present to help students boost their CVs and morale too. Certificate courses such as cpr course is offered along with many other options. Overall I would recommend this college because of its infrastructure, staff, activities, well equipped laboratories and so much opportunities which are given. Thank you

Campus Life

5

So many activities are offered here the most famous one is our ethnic day which is a big event which happens once a year . The whole college will be excited for this and it provides so much information about other cultures. Many clubs stand organisations such as ncc, nss, youth Red Cross, women empowerment cell and so much more are open to students .

Hostel Facilities

4

I'm currently staying in a pg and the facilities are great. The bathroom is clean and we are provided with fridge, washing machine and even a microwave. It is located very near the college which is very helpful for commuting.

Admission

This college is perfect for my course or other life sciences and I didn't even have to look at other colleges since it offers the best. First you register and then a series of interviews are conducted and an online test and then you will be selected and admitted into the college based on your performance.

Faculty

4

The faculty student ratio is very proportionate. The faculty are generally very supportive and knowledgeable and are very approachable. We can even text them at any time and they will answer your queries. I personally like my department faculties because of the before mentioned reasons. Some of them are a bit difficult because they catch you for a very small mistake and note your info. Otherwise overall they all good. There are a total of 6 exams in a 3 year course, 3 mid terms and ,end sems, it is easy or difficult depending upon the syllabus for that term. It is very relevant to the course curriculum.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
