What Students Say

Likes

The college has a good conncetivity it has a metro station at walking distance.
Safety is good in the area a police booth is nearby.
India expo mart is being constructed just in front of the college.

Dislikes

The girls to boys ratio is bad like 10:60
The crowd is not very good like u ll find in delhi.
Classes are too long like 9-5 as if we are going on a job

Course Curriculum Overview

Circulum is very old and they teach is very basic skills that are not even required out there anymore 3 exams other than main university exams are conducted and too much time is gone in the college itself its very hectic to manage everything they should train what skills are required out there not whats going on from last 10 Years even know that but we dont know whats stopping them.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 115603 per year

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placements after 3rd year the average placement is 4lpa and that is nothing we cant even maintain a basic lifestyle with that the highest package is 44 LPA my plans after degree is to get a job through coding languages.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 115603 per year and scholarships are available for students by up government for ones whose parents earn less than 2LPA and are a permanent resident of up and up only students should maintain 75% attendence to be eligible for scholarship

Campus Life

There was no freshers in the first sem no orientation jo nat nothing just classes 9-5 the first year students are not eligible for any extra curriculum activites they just have to study and study there are various clubs from 2nd year onwards library is very good u ll get almost everything

Admission

To get in lnto this college u either have to pass the jee main exam or 12th boards with good marks or if u have a strong pocket every college in knowledge park 2 is ready to give u admission after taking donation

Faculty

The faculty is mostly good and supportive but some teachers are not good they ll just not let you in the class even if u are 5 minutes late and some ll let u in even 30 minutes late .exams are of 4 types each semester cae-1,2 ,PUT exam and the aktu university semester exam.

Professional growth at SRM Delhi NCR campus

Placement Experience:

Today in Srm Modi Nagar, Ghaziabad become eligible from seventh sector or the last year of the course. some of the top creators for the core branches are Amazon, Infosys , TCS , Wipro, IBM, SAP labs, Cognizant , Tech Mahindra, HCL , JP Morgan Chase , Philips , etc. in 2024 more than 958 companies visited the campus making more than 6200 job offers across all disciplines. the highest package for BTech students in Srm IST Delhi NCR campus ranged from 18 LPA to 22 LPA. Selective candidates Getting up to 29 LPA. the average package for BTech with artificial intelligence and machine learning 4.5 to 6.5 LPA. the lowest package for eligible students was 3.45 LPA. the placement rate for eligible students for the recent past years is 80% to 90% for cse departements but dipped to about 55% for all btech combined in 2023 to 24 large scale hiring typically happens from IT firms and consultancy company. Students are offered role such as software developer, analyst, data engineer, graduate trainee, systems engineer, business analyst, etc. my future plans are either do higher studies like M, tech and MBA or Work in software development and machine, Delhi related job roles.

From 7th semister, student is eligible for the campus placements. If we talk about the internships, student can get the internship offers from 5th semister onwards. There are many companies that come in this college. there are arouund 1000+ companies that visits college for the placements. These companies includes JP Morgan, Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing, Deloitte, etc. The average package is around 7lpa and the highest package is around 45lpa. The percentage of students getting placements is around 75%. Some students prefers to study further and some leave the placements for the other reasons. My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in a good company with the good package.

Galgotias College: A college that underwhelms you in every way but never allows you to complaint.

I also applied to its affiliated college galgotias university because I heard about horrors of aktu. But didn't opt for it because the crowd on gu is actually considered really bad. GCET gives admission through UPTAC counselling through aktu. You have to appear for JEE and secure a rank of at least 2 Lakhs if you're from UP and want top CS branches....Read More

Insights of GCET

At the time of counselling, GCET is my 3rd preference as I have properly researched about it and matches with my eligibilty criteria as well. I have also applied for JIIT Noida, but couldn't able to get CSE branch. However, In greater noida, comparing to other private colleges, GCET is much better option because of its location, fee structure, campus size. College is like other colleges in terms of placement but attendance in not a big issue giving more time to work on skill
