A Tale on CUSAT

The exams are conducted in a perfect way and it is not that hard to crack. The curriculum is prepared so that after completing the course you will be industry ready. There is a internship after your second semester so that you will be more acquainted with what you have studied so far and also a complete semester which is the final one is internship only. So that you don't need a training you can directly go to the job

At cusat i am doing a course called Master in vocational studies in consultancy management. There are 4 semesters in total. For the first semester the fees will be 30000 with the causion deposit. Then in second semester it is 28,000 and in third semester it is 28,000 and for the final semester there is a 90 working days of internship and the fees will the same as third and second semester. There is claim for sc, st and ph students they just have to pay the causion deposit of 5000 apart from that there is no fees for the reservation students. There is also e grants scholarship for students.

1.Annual fest on December 2.all programs like onam, Christmas, November 1st kerala piravi, Ramdan is celebratrf 3.sports Astra and Kurukshetra is conducted on october and january respectively. 4.arts Sargam is conducted on march There is a university library and a department library and e library where u can access to both academic and non academic books In classroom there are table attached cushion chairs a white board and a projector. In lab we have ios and Android computers with AC We have it club, consultancy club and literary club. We have meet the alumni programs which will make us more close to the course and build a network

In the room there is a cot a table a chair and a shelf for each student Meal is provided 4 times a day and it is run by student committee. So the food quality will depends upon the cook appointed by the students otherwise there is all necessary facility to feed enough students. You need to get into the cusat hostel website and apply using your admission number and students who live 130 km and above away will be considered first others can get into hostel as the guest of these inmates

I applied to calicut university but before the entrance exam i got into CUSAT. so i never attended that exam. In cusat you need to write the common admission test(CAT) for getting in. After the rank list is published you will be called in for an interview and document verification students who passed CAT and completed graduation in Bcom, BBA or BVoc with 60% and above or Btech with 50% and above will be considered for admission.

1.There are 7 permanent faculties and few guest faculties and one director. Each faculty have more than 3 years of industry experience and they are very much approachable. They are always willing to help the students and even ready to support us in extra curriculum activities 2.vinod.v nair who have more than 12 years of experience in consulting and chemical engineering is my favorite faculty. He is intelligent. Empathetic and very much approchable 3.no one 4 for mvoc there are 3 sem exams for the final sem there is no exams there is a 90 day internship and a final presentation based on the exam. The exams are based on practical and real life problems and case studies. If you fail an exam before writing it as a supply exam you have a chance to clear it in makeup exam. Out of 23 students in our class only 3 failed but they got it in the make up exams itself. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the course
