The Reality of JC Bose University, YMCA Faridabad

The exams are not held much frequently but the timing between the exams is very irrational for example you get 10 days break for an exam but 2 days for the next one. The difficulty level of exams is not high. You can easily pass the exams just by practicing pyq's.

The placement for core branches is not good so students have to prepare for IT companies. This year Google visited and 3 students were hired. Other major companies are Samsung, TCS, Vipro, Yamaha, Flipkart, Whirlpool, HDFC,Zenon, Honda, etc.

Fees is high for a middle class family. As hostel is not provided for the boys so expensive is high for living here. And for scholarship you have to at least 75 percentage. This is not a better thing, because scholarships give on basis of family income.

Campus life is not that good as the campus area is very small,there are no hostels for boys , the drainage system is very weak, some buildings are verg old and need renovation, each branch doesn't have a separate building due to lack of area so two or more branches are merged in a single building and there are more problems like these . Few new buildins are under construction but the working process is very slow.

Based on my rank it was the best college i could get near my hometown so i applied in this college only(after getting rejected from NIT's as my rank was too high). To take admission here one has to give JEE mains exam and after that counseling is held in two online rounds and one physical round.

1 to 70 is the ratio of faculty to student. Teachers are good but not so supportive to do extra thing. They give advice to study only and say other activities are waste of time. They want to student act as a robot.
