Course Curriculum Overview

2

The frequency and timing of exam is very like it's stressing more in science course. The syllabus is vast and we get Little time . About teachings it's good overall. We'll be given assignments from time to time. that lightened our burdens atleast a little bit .

Fees and Financial Aid

The course fee is about 12000-13000 per semester for our course but it depends on the subjects you are choosing tho . And about scholarship there's so many opportunities but for sc or others like economically backward or others you can apply for scholarship which our college offer where you get you fee refund for one semester if you get 85 percent or above in the last exam

Campus Life

1

The infrastructure need some improvement sometimes while raining there's leakage of water and the floors would be flooded even on 1st floor and the auditorium is soo bad . It's too old and can't withstand too much weight anymore

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is very good. Environment also good. Mess food is not that good but it's super affordable and the rooms are spacious. If we wanna have some personal time then we have so many space. You can just zone out there and it's good I'd say

Admission

I'm from NorthEast and my parents want me here in chandigarh for further studies because they feel here safer for us girls and the environment also good . So I applied for the Punjab University and it's centralised at the time of my admission. I just put this college as my preferred one as this is actually a prestigious college and it's only for girls

Faculty

3

The faculties I'd say they are good like they always support us when we wanna talk about something with them and don't make us feel awkward or anything like they are being friendly (ofcourse not in the class tho) . Almost all the faculties, I really like them . There's one mid semester exam and a final semester exam in one semester and about the mid semester exam we have to get 25% overall so it's not that hard but in the final having some backlog is I think it's very common

Course Curriculum Overview:

1. Flexibility of course and type it has to be done . For further academic pursuits definitely yes but for real world application as of now except computer application there is no real world application of this as of physics it is more derivation type topic is covered in the first semester as of now. I course should be designed to prepare for real world application not the old school craming and derivation type. Exam happen twice a year in april and in novembor-december and of moderate level

Course Curriculum Overview:

Being a Science student , I loved my curriculum as it provides application parts with laboratories . I choose this course as I always wanted to learn more about science and its various fields. For me overall curriculum is good and have moderate level but I would suggest to reduce the syllabus little bit so that most of the students can learn whole syllabus Exams are being conducted regularly as per the University guidelines.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It really depends upon the course itself. A good curriculum includes preparing students for what's out there. Faculty here teaches the core concepts along with staying up to date with the trends and new technologies, it helps to connect the theory part with practicals. Therefore our course is relevant and comprehensive.
