Dr. Hari Singh Gour University - a journey through my life

My course Bacholers of science wit the subject combination of Chemistry, Botany and Zoology is a very comprehensive and relevent courese with my focus mainly being on zoology, The departments releted to subject biology mainly including botany and zoology are ranked around top 4 in asia and also have world renowned researchers. My descision was heavily influenced by this fact.

My university has a placement cell in the administrative block, where students can go and check for any kind of internships or job offer that maybe there, also students can go for off campus internships and workshops.

my fee system is not year wise but semester wise, and my semester fee defers every semester but still is around 2800 to 3000 INR. this semester fee include our admission fee,lab fee etc. also I want to include the fact that this is the fee structure for Unreserved catagory , for Reserved catagories (ST,SC,OBC) the fee of the semester is round 28 INR (All Included mention above). There are also scholerships provided by the government for female students and students who come from a not so good background but that also for the reserved catagories, Students of Unreserved catagoris have to go for Private scholerships like Reliance scholerships etc. We also have to pay 700 INR for exam registration and that amount is same for student of every catagory may it be reserved or unreserved. We can also join te university Gym for INR 50 per month of our own volition.

my overall collage experience is pretty decent like not outstanding but pretty great because we have many activities such as sports and bollywood day, and many plays performed by the theatre department and also the folk dances performed by the dance department. And many more fun activities. Also have many clubs.

this was my third choice as in first BHU, then Central university Rajasthan and after that this one, of all the collages I applied for I only got rejected from BHU and that only because I couldn't get the course of my choosing . The C.U. rajasthan story is just tragic because everything was right until the paperwork got lost, and I couldn't do anything. so i went with the next best thing. My criteria for selecting the University was first If I can get a direct train to the nearest station which I could here, also the distance is not that much from my home town and the timing of train was also favourable as it was in the night so I only had to sleep through the journey peacefully.

the faculty to student ratio in our university is good because we roughly have around 130 students in a class and that gets devided into two sections ( ex.- A and B ), and that also gets devided into sub sections ( ex.- A1 and A2 ). I rally lie all of my faculties because they are world class teachers and mentors. the exams are alo easy.
